she did not have make-up on this morning but she does have it on now...camera dont pan in on the decollatage

I have to chime-in on this as a cosmetic surgical professional

Lulu...oh dear Lulu. Full marks for trying. Even further applause for nailing a proficient surgeon in the cosmetic world. As a result, to the untrained eye, Lulu has the much wanted 'Has she or hasn't she??' look.

To run through her procedures:
The sculpted face:
I personally would not lean towards a classic lift (Dissection of skin from muscle technique)
However back tracking to older images of Lulu and her natural facial dimensions, gives all the answers required...

In answer to the 'oh but she does have good skin'
My reply.. this is easily achievable with a procedure known as Fraxel. Painful, yes, downtime, yes (about 2 weeks) but the benefits are astounding - fresh, plump, babylike skin

So, onto the fillers.
Absolutely without a DOUBT, Lulu is familiar with Radiesse. Best indications for Radiesse are in the nasolabial folds, jaw line and chin. Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres that last approximately 12 - 18 months, but it causes lumps in the lips, so her lip fillers would be Juvederm, or Juvederm Ultra, again very subtle, maybe upper lip only (naturally your upper lip should always be 30% smaller than the lower lip. If a lip is same size as lower, thats the give-away) so 70/100 not 100/100

Finally she has Botox in corregator muscles (frown) & Procerus (number 11s)

If she has had any dissection, I would say it would have been around the neck area only.
The back of her hands also look like they have had slight fillers - which is very popular to puff out the vascular look of ageing hands

Finally she is not crossing any boundaries selling her tat, but, she should never ever relate her youthful complexion to the power of her product. This is the problem, I feel

EXCELLENT ! JR's ego - lovely to read someone talking knowledgable sense for once !!

Most people of a certain age can look 'youthful' with a decent haircut and a modicum of fashion sense - (and we know that Lulu probably has a hairdresser on stand-by)

As for her knowing her lines - CHECK OUT THE PINK AND WHITE FLOWERS THAT ARE ALWAYS ON SHOW (they are hiding her script !!!!)

Now I feel extremely guilty for pulling her face apart with my surgical pen

I will say congratulations to Lulu for looking so good. I guess she could have had all her teeth porcelained, but probably declined as she might have been concerned that the veneers would affect her "WHAYY HEY AYY AYYY YAY YA YAYA YAAAHHHH" :giggle:

its obvious she has had work done. jo fairley looked very tidy around the eyes yesterday. a much better job done plus she will do it stages. lulu's plastic surgery was too blatant not subtle at all

Jr'sEgo - cool! More please. Do the presenters and/or the models. Puhleeeeze. PwettyPuhleeeeeze.

I noticed,in the close up when she was applying her lip liner, that her skin didn't look all that smooth under her make up. You don't see that at the normal distance. Was surprised really.

And all this "Dr Joe" bol......s. It sounds like a Wild West snake oil salesman. I can just imagine going to see my GP and saying "Hi, Dr Rob ! " he'd think I'd taken leave of my senses !!!!!

What DO these people take us for ???

Don't know why they bothered wheeling in that Dr Joe - from what I've seen he's hardly got a word in edgeways.

She seems very ill-prepared - couldn't even remember all the ingredients of the facial oil. I would have thought that at the very least you should know what's in the products, especially when you consider what her spiel is - wants to sing until the day she drops......music industry all about youth.......needs to look as young as possible in order to compete with Kylie etc....starting mixing her own concoctions as couldn't find something that worked for her......yawn, yawn, yawn!

I am on holiday and passing the time watching the 10pm show. I was amused when Lulu was warbling on about one of her products. She said that when she tried it for the first time someone said to her "have you had something done to your face - oh the irony lol

I gave up watching Lulu quite early on, just couldn't stand to listen to the absolute garbage coming out (plus i do think it should be investigated that she's claiming her products delivered that face when we all know it was surgery!). This pretence of 'mixing products together' to find something that works is nonsense. Wasn't she married to a chap who developed products? Hair products perhaps but still, someone who knew about that kind of thing. Plus as a performer she wouldn't be willing to mess around with her skincare regime, if she had a bad reaction that could mean weeks or months of not working and she simply couldn't take that risk. High profile stars now have a dermatologist in speed dial so they can have zits injected and vitamin drips etc to minimize down time, time is money after all. Back in Lulu's heyday it would be more a case of using the simplest regime possible (Ponds cold cream comes to mind) and then relying on surgery when the time came. We're supposed to believe that she's so clever she 'discovered' a concotion that worked better than anything that was already on the market? Please...

Btw there's a very interesting article in this months Allure magazine about what exactly stars get done before high profile events etc, make your hair curl some of it!!

Preposterous isn't it?
"Music was maaaa first loooove, and it will be maaaaaa laaaaaast"

Silly cow. Just RETIRE!

If you want a good hand cream then look no further than Inecto Pure Coconut hand cream. It costs £1 (yes one pound) from Savers and is by far the best product. You may wonder what a 28 year old heterosexual army soldier is worrying about hand cream but I have eczema that flares up badly now and then. If I don't use a cream my skin breaks out into cuts and starts dripping with blood, and is extremely painful. The coconut cream is by far the best product I have ever tried, even out of all the premium / prescription brands. I don't even use a steroid cream any more. Given that I do a lot of cycling / assault course training my skin gets put through a lot.

Hi Julius, I too have used this handcream bought from " Poundland" and can highly recommend it! I also use Derma V10 handcream, 2 for£1, yes 2 75ml tubes for£1!!! I have also been using Derma V10 day cream and night cream (also £1) for a while and can honestly say my skin has never been in better condition. Yes, I have wrinkles & laughter lines but who in their 50's hasn't? I have never subscribed to the advertising hype of any product on TV & frankly can't understand anyone who does, but each to their own. All I can say is give these products a try, you have absolutely nothing to lose and you might even save yourselves a fortune and be able to tell QVC where to stick their overpriced junk together with the overpaid beauty presenters.

You are absolutely right, Trish. Derma V10 is a great brand. Their "10 Years Younger" serum has some amazing ingredients that you wouldn't find in products 10 times more expensive. Having had problem skin all my life I have to take great care of my skin and have tried so many products and can absolutely vouch for this brand. Derma V10 also do an eye roll-on as well which is only £1.99 - about 1/5 of the price of the Garnier version / other versions and it contains better ingredients including HA. I use this when I come out from swimming as the chlorine / goggles make my "eye area" (to quote Alison Young) puffy and sensitive.

Another superb product is called "Hyaluronic 554 Youth Serum" by Balance. Costs less than £5 and is more moisture-retaining than Hyaluronic Acid. I also use this around my "eye area" and "face area."

When it comes to looking after your skin, the key things are: 1) Protection from sun. 2) Hydration. 3) Exfoliation. 4) Nourishing with vitamins A, C and E + emollients.

Yes, John Frieda(she was married to him) the company developed the products and in reality Lulu is just the face and name used to sell it. She even admitted this in a interview earlier this year in the Daily Mail. Dr.Joe works for John Frieda.

Does anyone know if she has finished her tour of Butlins yet?:giggle::smirk:

Another thought on treatment for 'poorly' hands and skin - although those with a sensitive disposition may want to by-pass this reply..................................

My old gran ( a miner's wife in the early 20 Cent) lived in an age when there were no creams and potions, no deodorants or toothpaste, so inventing and 'making do' was the norm. She reckoned the best remedy for cracked and dry hands was..... wait for it................. your own urine ! She absolutely swore by it for making your hands soft again (of course a strong smelling soap afterwards would help !). But there we are, it shows how far we have come re beauty products in less than 100 years.

Brissles, are you mad.....*ssshhhhh*......you could be sitting on a fortune & now you're blabbing it away! Find yourself a nice friendly chemist, get him to take out the smelly bits in wee wee, add some, ooh I dunno, some suitable flowery things from the upper slopes of some random mountain range &......ta da! The handcream to end all handcreams & it works.....probably push the flowers bit as active ingredients though, not the wee wee.....?
