No water for me. And it has to be a double espresso. A single is too small. If it's an espresso, they'll first have a shot glass of water to cleanse their pallets and then drink the tepid coffee in one gulp

A double espresso will get you going! A small one is little more than three or four tablespoons. But so strong. No water for me. And it has to be a double espresso. A single is too small.
You can actually buy tea bags that taste like dunked biscuits. I tried one when they put a pack up in my work's canteen, they weren't too bad but I think I'll stick to normal. I have been known to occasionally dunk a biscuit but yes you can get a rather unpleasant mush at the bottom of your cup if you're not careful. Why do some tea drinkers dunk a biscuit in their cup? I don't do it, but crumbs of biscuit must drop into the tea and ruin the taste.
That's the idea. I don't like weak coffee. May as well have waterA double espresso will get you going! A small one is little more than three or four tablespoons. But so strong.
You are correct, Yorkshire tea and M&S do some, may be others too.You can actually buy tea bags that taste like dunked biscuits. I can drink out of any cup. Mugs are preferable for both tea and instant coffee. I have 'my' cup though. It's a triangular one with Barcelona sites on it. No, I didn't go there to get it.Do any of you have a favourite cup to drink your tea from ? I do or rather I did until Mr V recently broke it. It has to be made of china and not one of the thick heavy pot mugs or cups, it has to hold quite a lot of tea, not a piddly mouthful some tiny cups hold and it has to feel comfortable to hold. I`ve been on the search for a new favourite mug/cup and Mr V is now banned from washing it when I find it !
Has anyone ever seen a gnat pee?it's usually like gnat's pee. I find it difficult to get the brew right in a teapot.
I was always told one per person plus one for the pot. Is that wrong?!Has anyone ever seen a gnat pee?And in my last job, they had an agency carer (residential care home), and she put 20 teabags into a standard size pot for somewhere around 15 people. How's that for strong?
I'd heard that too, but the pot I was talking about wasn't a huge one. And likewise, mug and bag. But on that premise, do 'you' put two bags into the one mug?I was always told one per person plus one for the pot. Is that wrong?!
Tbh, haven't used a teapot for ages, just bag in a mug!

Are you a tea drinker by any chance? One bag in a mug for one.
For two, separate bags and mugs! Cups used on special occasions.
I do put multiple old bags in a mug to reuse and get a strong enough 2nd or 3rd brew! Waste not, want not.
But I still go through teabags like billy-o. Have bought the massive 600 bag pouch from Tetley's when on offer and usually no less than 240 boxes at a time!
