Help Support ShoppingTelly:

Well I thought I'd canceled the auto delivery but my third drop has been despatched. Maybe this one will be a keeper because I've returned the Xmas TSv and the most recent one.

I've had a despatched email too. Was also going to cancel it as have too many B&B now but will be good to see it. I ordered these in Porcelain which is handy to have alongside the Fair but I don't use it enough to get through it so now have two spare. Is ebay a better idea than returning? I am reluctant as I hear of problems with ebay selling.

My rule of thumb is, if you're keeping half or more of the contents then it might be worth selling them. Maybe become a VIP on here and sell them in the Drop. You're welcome to pm me if you need help listing anything for sale on ebay.

Thanks so much for your help. I used to be a regular seller on ebay over 10 years ago when it was a fun hobby and have over 1000 feedback but am wary of it now and it seems to have all totally changed. I do have a lot of things I should sell so it would be good to have a go but selling or swapping on here would be good for the qvc stuff as I've acquired a lot of extra items in my first year of QVCing.

My third drop arrived and it seems that this one is a keeper (returned the previous two drops). The lip crayon on my lips looks the colour of the 1st drop crayon in the bullet (if that makes sense). The problem with the first drop crayon was that it looked peachy in the bullet but went on too pink (which didn't suit me at all) and didn't really go with the peachy blush that came in that set. The second drop - the crayon was good so I returned the set and bought one off ebay. Since I didn't keep any of the recent TSV I think this is finally the one for me.

I'm not sure I'd go for another make up TSV again, particularly where there are items repeated in every drop which wouldn't be used in 12 months, let alone every 3 months (that lavender highlighter will last me years, I certainly don't need 3). What might work is a choice of colour palettes for a TSV that doesn't include a foundation. Mind you that might just produce the usual brown, purple and nude/taupe choices! Mally has done collections in the past where all the component parts are tailored to a complexion so that if I opt for the Light/Fair option I'd get softer colours of blush and shadow and those buying medium/tan would get stronger colours.

Much as I love a bargain with a great deal that includes a foundation maybe it would be a nice change to offer three different colour collections; I bet several people would buy more than one if there were no repeated products particularly if offered on easy pay. The only recent one of these I can remember was a New CID TSV (quite a few years ago now). I didn't order any option because I would have cherry-picked the lippy from one, a shadow quad from another and the bag from the third option! Maybe I've just answered my own question as to why QVC don't do more TSVs of this type.

edit - just realised there's another thread about the third drop of the LG TSV, I just added to this cos I'd posted the other day. Feel free to move my posts if it makes more sense.

I spoke too soon, the lippy did start to turn pink on me after about an hour! I must have a weird chemical make up or something! It's not gone the weird Barbie pink that the first drop lippy turned on me so I'll still wear it.
