I would assume it is with regards to things that have been in the news the last couple if days. As Lynn says best not to go into it.I know exactly what the post means.best not to elaborate.
Still none the wiser but no matter because almost all of LG and Tarte are made in China anyway! And LG & Mally are owned the same company - AS Beauty (but Mally does retain a small percentage). This no doubt explains why the Balance & Brighten now resembles an explosion of talcum powder every time you sweep a brush over it. I reckon it’ll soon be 95% talc! My bugbear. Absolutely no need at all to use Talc - just makes it cheap as cheap to manufacture.I would assume it is with regards to things that have been in the news the last couple if days. As Lynn says best not to go into it.
Or Balance & Blow....(away the talc dust)According to DF's blog the TSV is a three piece super size balance and glow collection
I think it’s all Talc. As I said in a previous post I used B&B right at the very beginning when there was just one shade (& I was busy damaging my skin in the sun) and it was exactly what they said it was a creamy liquid baked into a solid block. It felt beautiful on my dry skin and there was a very slight glow to it and the coverage was unbelievable. No matter how many times you put the brush on it, you never got a cloud of dust flying everywhere. This all changed when they sold the company to AS. Last time I bought it, I couldn’t get any product onto the brush although I managed to get it everywhere else! Nowadays all you get is talc dust, zero coverage and a face looking and feeling more parched than the Sahara! It’s time QVC were more transparent and honest about these brands and their ownership.I haven't used Balance n Brighten/Glow for around a decade now, I take it the talc content has increased since then?
I was in USA when she had her very first show on QVC. She was then, as she is now, very likeable. I have used her 'baked' blush for many years now. It lasts a long time, but the case it's in always falls apart. I've never used any of her other products. When Laura says it's creamy, I can't believe how blatantly she stands there and lies to the thousands of us. Тhe new emperor’s clothes. I have never tried the original creamy one, but I've been buying the bnb since around 2010 and it always dried my skin. Does anyone remember the year Laura started at qvcuk?
I agree. I much prefer Balance & BrightenI use balance and brighten every day for around 15 years. I apply it lightly and then use a setting powder (Maybelline) followed by blush and brighten, I haven’t noticed it being any more talcy.
Probably give this TSV a miss as I find balance and glow is too shiny and glittery for me.
