I love the sound of your sequin bags!Years ago the prints were really lovely. I still have a cabin bag of large white flowers on a silvery background (choice of lilac with white flowers) . Then I have a large cream tote with gold leather handles and lilac lining. Also 3 sequin (yep sequin) cross bodies for evening in cerise, green and silver. All so different. Now they're all sludge colours and funereal prints that are depressing.
Is it Kipling young designers who aren't creative enough - or are they so into their casual camouflage wear, that anything "pretty" is beyond the pale for them ?
I know that lots of people don't understand the fuss with Kipling, but I think they're always so well made and last forever. I have a purse that I've been using for ten years and it still looks new (it's 'espresso brown', so might not look so good still if a lighter colour, I suppose). I love that the zips never stick.
Personally not a fan of the monkeys though. They come straight off and into a charity shop.
