Dianna looked awful in the 6 o'clock hour, really caked (not a good look at her age). Johnny used a felt tip pen brow thing on her and it made her hair look even more unnatural red. I can only think that American women like that made up look. I love make-up and wear it every day but as I get older, it has to adapt. It takes me as long as always to put my face on, but it's now more about hiding than adding.
I agree with all of that. At my age now (48), I wear roughly about half the make up I used to wear at 28. The reason I love Bobbi Brown make up is because I find it never looks overloaded, especially the foundation, which used to be a nightmare for me and added 15 years! Saying that, I use LG Balance and Brighten in Fair and its great and does not look powdery, which is another no-no. On the LG show today, I saw Johnny pile on a really thick, dark looking liquid foundation on Amanda (who I thought had fair skin). The poor girl looked unnatural and as previously mentioned - an Oompah Loompa.
