So the presenters do read our forum!

Just watching Laura on the Molton Brown hour and she’s corrected herself for saying “for you” all the time as she’s seen us complaining about it on here.

Bless her, I did feel for her as she’s definitely one of the nicer and less affected presenters.

It was irritating, 'for you' over and over again. But, I doubt the presenters read this forum unless they are masochists. The QVC management told her to cut it out, imo.

It hasn’t stopped Alison Young yet, sadly. She was on last night talking about Tili bag colours, the usual “all genders can use any colour” but she almost tied herself in a knot with “If you have got someone, for example like a guy that does like to have everything in black …” [holding up the black, suggesting a guy might prefer the black, and suddenly realising she was straying from her own narrative] “… even though a guy can have bright pink, lilac … and be identifying as anything that they gorgeously want …”. (And that is pretty much verbatim as I played it back.)

Are you reading this forum, Alison? We’ve told you about this before! We are all genders on here and many of us think you sound ridiculous.

I like her but she did make a couple of mistakes on The Morning Show today and had to be corrected by Simon.

Trouble is, the job they do relies on time-fillers and these phrases ("you know", "as well", "for you", "and...and...AND" (with increasING INTENSITY)" etc etc are easy to use and help pad out the descriptive repetitions, and I don't think the presenters could cope without them.
