glad there are posts her re steel and the devastation there will be for the thousands of families affected. mortified by the apathy shown by all the governments not supporting british industries.

I watched the Inside Out North East version and they visited a steel town in Italy that has ignored the EU directives.

lets be honest even before the eu no recent governments have supported british industries.

What about the apathy of the public buying cheaper imported items rather than UK made ones?

A lot went abroad when cheaper imports came in and everyone started buying them as they were cheaper.

Problem we have is now trying to close the stable after the horse has bolted.

its closed now. british steel is all but gone. governments do have the power to protect british industries. but they dont

In this day and age every penny counts so as sad as it is, if there are two identical items ones a pound made in China and the other one is ten made in Britain, I think the majority of us would go for the pound Take Lu Lu Guinness for example, her bags are supposed to be bespoke yet the £400 plus bags are made in China, Kipling too, on Amazon the people that make Kipling bags in China are selling them under a different name for a fraction of the price, yet people still buy the "Kipling" branded bag, what I mean is it's the name most people go for, rather than the origin.

This is on again today.

They are STILL referring to it as 1.5 litres, even though it is 2.5. And even the EXPERT who works for KR is saying 1.5.

They just can't learn, can they.

And again, they said it is Swiss, although it is actually Chinese.

Is it 2.5 litres total size but only 1.5 litres usable which is often how the quote these as you can't use the total volume

No, it has actual measurement marking on it, up to 2.5 litres, which you can see in one of the pics.

And in an earlier demo, they cooked 18 eggs in it, which used the whole 2.5 L capacity.
