Aargh jump suits! Have to strip off every time you need a pee. Even worse if you're out & about in a coat & scarf.

So true! And they are a nightmare generally if you are either short bodied or long bodied. I had a jumpsuit back in the day and I loved it. Loved the colour of it and the style, but it didn't get worn loads... just not practical.

I'm really surprised that a jumpsuit is a TSV. I have always assumed that due to the large quantities in the warehouse for a TSV that items chosen would have a wide appeal. In my opinion jumpsuits don't have a wide appeal. Apart from the toilet issues mentioned jumpsuits only really look good on tall and slim ladies. I am not tall and slim so I have ruled this out before it even comes to air!

I don't think they have a wide appeal either, except that we have been told repeatedly they are the latest thing from the cat walks and a must have, bang on trend etc so many will buy because of that.Q just jumping on the band wagon.

They are not at all attractive as far as I can see, let alone the toilet issues. Will they be worn to work Christmas parties,I suppose so. Fortunately I no longer have to go through that agonising experience.

the last jumpsuit they did sold out before 9am

For those of us old enough to remember the Beverly Hillbillies and the sight of Jed in his long john "jumpsuit" with the button flap at the back, I reckon all these so called fashion designers are missing out on a useful addition to their supposed on trend jumpsuits.

I can't help thinking jumpsuit = boiler suit (big in the 1980s)
For practicality though the jumpsuit just isn't as good as the Clampitts' union suit (actually a union suit is way more practical because of the "trapdoor" arrangement which means you don't have to strip down to answer the call of nature).

When you think of some of the all in one horrors which have been peddled as high fashion over the decades, it's clear the fashion designers have a sense of humour - all at our expense!

The only thing which trumps a jumpsuit/boiler suit would be dungarees (think Dexy's Midnight Runners look in the 1980s - even the skinny-minnies looked dire). There's a reason why generally they are only worn by babies and toddlers.

There are usually a lot of posts on FB begging (I kid you not) for stocks, one nearly had to be worked with as one she wanted to wear to a wedding.

I think they see Pipa standing and wearing it well and think they will look good so loads of orders for Q.

It is only when they actually wear the darn things they realise all the minus points.

Back in the day I tried them and it was a disaster and that was before reaching the age of having the urge to "go" at the drop of a hat.

Remember the body thingies with the poppers? How many times did we do gymnastics in a loo trying to do it up again only to admit defeat and end up tucking it in like a vest. Actually I think I saw them in a shop recently!

Yes the tops with the poppers .I liked the look of them , gave a sleek look but going to the loo and getting them done up again ,oh dear...... Sometimes caused self inflicted pain......

Those poppers could be crippling too, not the best place to have hard little bits of plastic when you sat down.

.

"Bodies" are back in - loads been in shops as you say, and all part of a nineties revival! I wore them then and loved them, never needed the loo in any great urgency so a few poppers was no problem (!) and they gave such a nice neat look - no wrinkling like other tops and I bought a new ome recently to relive my teens and I still like them! Only for 'thin' days mind you, but great with my palazzo pants etc.
Then again I am quite a big jumpsuit fan, so long as it's got drape and is long enough for me (ie nothing from QVC!)
I just saw the end of the dreaded Saturday night show (channel hopping and hopped off pretty quick!) and Debbie was wearing a navy jersey jumpsuit (kind of wrap top) not sure if this is the new Kim one or a former model but not sure abt it on her...

Just watching Debby Flint wearing this jumpsuit while presenting a beauty show. She looks trussed up like the Christmas turkey. It looks a size to small for her and does not go with her peep toe platform stilletoes worn with black tights. She looks stupid, certainly not a good advert for the TSV!!!!

Just saw her in her jumpsuit when she was standing up and I didn't think she looked too bad

Didn't notice the horrendous shoe/tights combination though!

Looks like pyjamas when she's sitting down though!

As you may have guessed, I won't be buying this!

Yep - looked like Minnie Mouse in a jumpsuit, with that tights + footwear combo. Debbie may have many things going for her but dress sense isn't one of them.
