Does Molton Brown have expiry dates on there Gift Boxes?

Just contacted IW for an update on my order, the very prompt response given was :

“I can see that this item is currently on pre-order and is anticipated to be available starting on November 19th. So you can expect the dispatch date in 48 working hours from the day of availability”

This is interesting Lloyd, thanks for posting. I ordered the same set as you and later same day the set with the pink pepper etc - that set has been delivered today. I have heard nothing about the black pepper set and when I telephoned yesterday IW said "it looks as if it should have been despatched yesterday, we will raise a query". Luckily it's not urgent and I think they were a great buy - am very happy to wait, and it's useful yo know it's likely to not be before the 19th. Thanks

Did the box have the code on the back to determine the manufacturing date?

I ended up cancelling four of my MB orders as they were not sure they could meet the demand, overwhelmed by the orders they received, i thought that was called stock control couldn't identify exactly when they were shipping orders but happy to have your money for 17 days before they ship. My minis the internal packaging was broken in places and the bottles are sticky. Still awaiting two sets that EVRI seem to be taking an age over!

Yes there is a code on a white label Q4XX1443 - where would I check that?

That's really bad Pudding. . The card inside was broken for the middle bottle but it hadn't caused any damage, maybe because they were bigger bottles so couldnt move around that much. I really hope Evri sort out your delivery -sounds like you've had enough disappointment .

I think that is probably best if you want to give the box as a gift as it seems the condition isn't guaranteed and could be hit and miss. I plan to add individual bottles to gifts and some for myself - if the other box of three arrives that is!!
