I clearly don't understand just what it is people want from clothing - it seems to me quite bizarre that QVC would be dropping Kim's 'petite' range (when the rest of the retail world is busily extending theirs!) due to 'lack of demand/interest' (really?!?) & yet offer as a TSV an item of clothing which I would have thought would have a very limited appeal indeed......?

Andy Pandy ?

I was on the DHS yesterday and the only jumpsuits I saw were cotton, in bright patterns and mainly with spaghetti straps and usually in amongst what I call the teenage styles.
So where does this " on trend " malarky come from ? . . . . .

"1. Jumpsuit

Among the biggest Resort trends of 2016 is the jumpsuit trend. Spotted on the collections of Alberta Feretti, Stella McCartney, Topshop Unique and Marchesa, to name but a few. It’s clear that the jumpsuit is going to be the next must-have item in every stylish woman’s wardrobe.

Jumpsuits with clean lines and dark or neutral colours, seem to be the favourite among designers, which is great news for fashion lovers because the darker the colour the more flattering it is to wear. Do you want a garment that makes a statement? You will fall in love with the intricate lace or floral jumpsuit pieces as seen at Marchesa."

No mention of QVC then ....
Perhaps brand websites have them or bigger branches of DHS shops but believe me my local Next, Marks, Dorothy Perkins etc must have had them well hidden. To be honest I think fashion blogs, magazines and newspaper articles are much the same as the beauty ones, they quote what they`re told or sent.

You may well be right Vienna. I never go to the DHS so have no idea what they're selling, I do all my shopping online so only know what's going on there.

These trends may be big on the catwalk but many of them don't translate well to high street and for ordinary shaped people.

My first thought when I caught sight of this was 'Andy Pandy' so I laughed when I saw Vienna's post ( great minds think alike!!)
Those were the days when our parents left us to watch such things & dind't have to worry we were accessing porn on our smart phones.

I remember when 'boilersuits' became fashionable in the 70's, and how we ended up having to strip off every time we needed a wee. I won't be going down that route again. Ever.

If by chance anybody likes the tsv but missed out, then M and S are selling this one in their sale. Available in regular or long lengths, 95% polyester, 5% elastine and a very similar style to the one from Kim. It`s been reduced to £17 in their sale, it was £45 but I don`t think jumpsuits are proving too popular in stores. Here it is just in case anybody is interested. Most sizes up to a 24 are available in both lengths.
