Inspired design or just cheap-looking nonsense

It must sell, or it wouldn't continue to be sold on QVC, but what am I missing? All I see is hideous mirrored surfaces with cheap-looking glittery things stuck on top. To me it looks like the worst excesses of TK Maxx. Maybe it looks better in real life, I don't know. What do you like about it?

I still laugh at the snow globe from a couple of years ago that had his name in the middle !!!! Who in heaven's name would buy a snow globe like that ? I s'pose its better than having Asda covered in snow.

Shameful! I grew up in a house with a donkey cigarette "dispenser". Don't ask! Cheetah bookends would have been too classy for us.

I bought a lamp a couple of years back. Long gone to the dump. It was tat and I should have returned but I didn’t.
the mirrored boxes and other items are a nightmare to keep clean . My microwave has a mirrored door and it drives me nuts with finger marks. Seemed like a good idea when I bought it.

I should have added, I don't have a reflection, so mirrored surfaces are no use to me. Mwuhahahaha.

You pressed the donkey's head and its tail would lift up... Yes, it really was that classy! An uncle brought it back from Spain as a gift. It took pride of place on the mantelpiece for a long time, next to the castanets.

I just love it No I don't have one but I'm almost certain someone in my family did.

The donkey reminds me of the Christmas gift I bought my Salvation Army Cpt boss. It was a reindeer which pooped brown jelly beans, you pressed its bum and hey ho a jelly bean dropped out . He loved it and kept it on his desk.
Back then we had a £5 limit on Christmas presents for each other at work and most of us civvies were more than chuffed with a bottle of plonk but the Sally Army staff didn`t smoke, drink or gamble so they nearly always ended up with chocolates, biscuits or sweets.
