I wish Julia all the best with her venture. I sympathise about the dancers' calves, I have a fine pair of those too! :)

I thought it was a novel too?

My two penneth is that she looks fab in all photos. I'm not photogenic at all but I would love, just once in my lifetime, to have a gorgeous, airbrushed photograph of myself!

So she's afraid of getting old? Aren't we all? I would rather stay fresh and glam than be a wrinkly, miserable, frumpy old woman any day. She's not prancing around in ridiculous lace mini dresses and over the knee boots, she dresses appropriately for her age.

She's not a nasty person, she's excellent at her job, I can't see what so many people hate about her.

I always admit when I am envious of a person, life is too short to be bitter and twisted. I am envious of the fact that she looks so ****** good for her age and I can only hope I follow suit :D

And no, I'm not a sweet and sickly sycophantic fan. I am a logical realist who sees and says it like it is.

Rant over  lol

Lovely post Capirossi,, I like Julia too & think she looks fab for her age. Not sure about her book but fair play to her, hope it does ok.

Hugo's Les Miserables has lots of short chapters I seem to remember maybe Julia is angling for a long-running show...but who could play our heroine? Title? "Avez-vour ma taille?"

Saw it yesterday. I'm still in bits with the emotion of it all! *sob*. :0)

Never seen the stage show Burlz, I know how the story pans out and know I'd never get over watching it. Not sure I could see the film for the same reason...I'm such am emotional flower. Other weird choice of films I've blubbed in include Angel Heart, Brigit Jones 2 Edge of Reason and Jurrassic Park! Go figure!

Back to Julia's film rights...maybe she'll insist "Our Sophie" plays the lead...she has a musical background dontcha know!

ps "avez-vous" my other post should read...I can even typo in other languages lol!

What's Sophie's musical background? You know that opera group of young women who got drenched performing for the Queen in the jubilee celebrations? They were performing on a "greatest moments of 2012" type show and one of the girls was a DEAD RINGER for Julia. Looked like Julia at 18 I actually thought it may be her daughter.

Soph was in a "girlband" with the stage name "Cinnamon", I can't remember the exact name of the group something like "Four Flavour" PlussizeJoy was their manager I think.

You simply MUST have heard of them...

She goes by the name Sophie Maxwell, Dad Chris Maxwell.

Found it! The group is called Amore. The brunette one. Is not called Sophie Maxwell although the name Maxwell does feature in the credits to their 12 days of christmas vid on you tube. Sorry can't do a link.

Probably not her, unless she uses a stage name.

Wonder will there be a kindle version since QVC seem so hell bent on pushing their latest toys and gimmicks?
