I just want to categorically state for the record, that although I have succumbed to the lure of the fleaflap, I will never ever fall into the kaftan trap. I feel once you've donned one of them babies, it's truly all over.

Thats what they all say, believe it if it makes you feel better dear ... :28:

You're livin' large aren't you eh.

I'm laughing with you NOT at you.............honest.

To all my fellow fleaflappers , I salute you, and to those who mock.... We walk in comfort, safe in the knowledge bunions are kept at bay and Debbie Paver is safe from redundancy and free to roam IW terrorizing young staff members with her scary eyes peeping out from beneath her scary hair.

:song:pixie walks warily down the street,
With the brim pulled way down low
Ain't no sound but the sound of her feet,
Flyflots ready to go
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bunions throb
To the sound of the beat

Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust :song:

*Shakes head*

I see I'm now a laughing stock.:grin: I expected a modicom of sympathy, nay envy even, for my new flyflot status. Breaking one's cherry is not a moment to be taken lightly and I took the plunge with some trepidation. I stand by my convictions, my chosen flot is a work of shoe art and I suspect your'e all a tad jealous of my obvious style ?............:envy:

I won't mock you PP!
I bet they're dead comfy and I have to admit to seeing something I quite liked too recently.
Must be me age :giggle:

I take it all back, you're right its not something to take lightly. Having just bought my first Kipling bag after years of mocking that damn monkey. (Although the monkey did find a new home and I just kept the bag!).

I'm just a bit concerned about the amount of space between the two straps, will it be big enough to let your bunions out but not so big that the corns and blisters on your toes won't rub. They should look something like this

Bunions, callouses and other footlike problems don't feature in my life and if the rest of you ladies stuck to sensible footwear and didn't cram yer trotters into unfootlike shaped shoes you'd have no need for footfiles, footplaners and footeggs? either. :emo:
