So, what're all these comments about gangs of friends from another forum talking about ST and making fun of us?

I feel like I'm missing out

As I said there is no other forum but some people seem to have a problem with people who have met via ST being friends and chatting in a group on Facebook. No-one is being made fun of, Graham has actually seen the group himself so knows that is it just friends chatting, it is nothing to do with ST, the only connection being that people met via ST.

?.............just friends chatting, it is nothing to do with ST, the only connection being that people met via ST.

it's what they are "chatting" about that is the problem! Getting too predictable now!

Oh righto, thanks for explaining...

hubble bubble, toil and trouble...

Don't know whether you mean to be funny or what with this remark... Shakespeare isn't it? (but it is actually 'double double toil and trouble' just in case you need to use it again).

What is wrong with a group of people having a chat away from this forum? It is just like anywhere else in life... some people we avoid, some we tolerate and some we like... why not spend time with the people you like?

Do you have problem with people being friends from here on Facebook.

Don't know if that question is for me or Carol but I don't have a problem with it - what I do have a problem with is the disingenuous way people like to pretend that this forum or its members are never discussed.

I'm confused again... if it is a private chat, how do you know what they are chatting about?

That is a genuine question as I am not on facebook so don't know how it works.

I think people are entitled to be friends with who they like, and as with everyday life can talk about whatever they like. And I am not in anybody's "gang" I am just a neutral observer who deliberately avoids the "like" or "dislike" button. The term "If the cap fits, wear it" could apply to many of the things I have read on this forum lately.

Lynn, on this occasion I tend to agree with you. I don't always, mind!

I repeat who has told you this?

Well so far I have been classed as being in a 'lot' likened to a bunch of bas@@@ds and now possibly a witch, could this evening get any better :mysmilie_466: I give up !!

blimey - thumbscrews next?

In any reasoned conversation between adults, it is normal to share information.

Some people are saying that certain things are happening and so it is quite reasonable for others to ask how those people actually have come to know those things.

It's all about context, how can they understand if you won't explain?
