the next Hotel Chocolat TSV s on the 09/11/21 (most likely the chocolate selection as usual)
The selectors are little boxes with (I think) 6 chocs in each.£53 delivered. Yikes! Lloyd, are you saying each chocolate is £2.20??? That's ridiculous and I don't care how posh or tasty or anything, that's just too much money for one bite of chocolate. I'll stick to my Freddie Frogs left over from Halloween.

I went on the Hotel Chocolat when I got this TSV email and was shocked that the Selectors had gone up from 3 for £10 to 3 for £12...£53 delivered. Yikes! Checked on Ocado selectors are 3 for £12 on there too...up 20%.I went on the Hotel Chocolat when I got this TSV email and was shocked that the Selectors had gone up from 3 for £10 to 3 for £12...
It’s not too bad for the slabs which are usually 2 in a pack (100g) so £40 per kilo on the offer (£45 individually). But some of the selectors are only about 60g which runs to £62+ a kilo.
I compare the kilo price with chocolate I love and rate such as Leonidas esp their Gianduja - one of my favourite treats, which are less expensive..
I do enjoy some of their chocolate, especially the super milk, and some of the selectors such as a the dizzy praline but I would really want to be able to choose my own.
(I used to be in their “tasting club” so sampled a lot of their chocolates and I hated quite a few esp those with alcohol or fruit in (most!))
Or Lidl in my case (Aldi is too far away). It’s too expensive for chocolate that I didn’t like when I was given a sample box to try. I’ll stick to Cadbury’s.
