Help me to resist wobbling

Found this wobbly light on Ebay, only £332 plus £61 PP, from the US so will have to add import duty and VAT on top. Makes QVC sound cheap :)

Check on eBay there’s some - the gift box for .99p each. 🙄
Did lots of searches, couldn't find them :(

They’re on advanced order …. quite a bit in the future. 😳 I personally wouldn’t want them and certainly wouldn’t want four of them. I certainly don’t think that they’re worth waiting weeks for, but we’re all different. 😉

As they’re on advanced order, I guess that if the other posters haven’t persuaded to resist temptation, strato, then you can always ring and cancel the order before it’s dispatched. I’ve done that a couple of times recently and, after reading the reviews, I’m glad I did.

Presumably they were on AO from the outset. It's happening more and more, there was something recently mentioned on the forum that would take a month to arrive.

One a serious note, I get regular power cuts of several hours at a time while they dig up the road yet again to find the fault.

So I have various torches standing up in places where I can easily find them in the dark. But they often get knocked over, whereas it would be impossible to knock these over.

Stop keep running feeds off to your property to avoid your meter then. 😉😂😂

They're probably at the bottom of a crate that was at the bottom of a container that was at the bottom of Ever Given & their batteries have probably gone fluffy after all this time. Resist Strato, resist 😵‍💫

However, they could roll away from you, become a trip hazard & the consequences could be nasty.

Probably sitting in a container on Felixstowe quay 😱.

They switch themselves off after 6 minutes. Imagine this in a child’s bedroom - the little darling would spend all night timing it, switching it on, off, on etc.

My advice is to put them in your basket and after half an hour, if you still want them, check your basket out. They will make you smile, and, goodness knows, we all need something to cheer us up, the better if it is a slightly frivolous purchase ! Have fun with them, Stratobuddy.

(Is this the time to admit I've just ordered four from ebay as Christmas stocking fillers - cost less than the price of one on QVC?) I know, strato, I'm not helping - sorry.
They are slightly different, use different batteries, and have no timer, but otherwise should be just as good. I wish you good wobbling.

Strato - sorry for being off topic but did you see the set of 3 head torches? (I put QVC on if I'm trying to avoid seeing a sports result!) I wondered what your opinion of head torches in general are - my mother has very poor sight due to macular degeneration and is finding it nearly impossible to do any of her hobbies - do you think these would help. I'm thinking perhaps would be useless for someone with damaged sight rather than just poor sight 🙄 After all you are the torch expert 😉🤗

I've only got 1 head torch, from Lidl, and I don't think I've ever used it, so I don't know. It was just for my collection.
