****** hell Kelly Hoppen's hair is big. Borderline fright wig. The nose seems to be getting bigger.

Shes starting to look like a budgie staring through a bog brush.
 
I have been watching for five minutes and cannot believe the crap that's coming out.

"I believe that everyone deserves good bed linen no matter what they earn" followed by "I know this is a considered purchase"
"We've looked on the net and not found an 800TC duvet for less than £150" - well they didn't look too hard because one look at Google shopping gave me a page worth from £40 upwards.

Although she's not as frumpy as I thought, I don't believe anything she says.

Now they're hanging on a frelling Tweet.....Just concentrate on what you're doing!!
 
She needs some ojon oil running through that hair. It would define the curls and make it less big.

Yes, she's on another planet than the rest of us. Over £150 for some bedding???
 
"This is the best quality you're going to get....tonight!" I like her, she has a really dry sense of humour. And repeatedly calling Julia a diva, that's funny!!

I like the TSV but I wouldn't pay that much. I prefer to copy her look at a fraction of the price and not have to pay for a name. Like my clothes actually!

Ooh Tova is on tomorrow. Is this her first show back?;

He died less than 2 months ago, on the 8 July. I think I'd need longer to grieve if my husband has passed away.

Same here. It showed 2 hours so I assume she's back. Poor thing. I guess people cope in different ways. Maybe this is what she needs.

i lkie kelly hoppen and if i had the money i would buy some of her things but sadly not the qvc versions..

Yes ii thought the nose looked larger was it the porkies she was telling?
 
If you wereworking in any other industry you'd get your week off to arrange the funeral and then be expected back at work, or take a weeks leave if you had it. I don't see why Tova should want or need more than two months.

Errr why are we discussing Tova?
 
Julia was making jokes about having to have afternoon naps at her age - cue nervous looks from Kelly :giggle: I don't think there is much between them? I like Kelly's look, but that 'do' must take some looking after. I don't believe for a moment that her QVC stuff is going to be the same quality as the celebs get. There is so much more to the quality of bed linen than thread count.
 
I like her and her stuff. I really like the TSV and would be tempted but for the fact that my airing cupboard is stuffed with bed linen and I definitely do not need any more! If she really is telling porkies, they can't be any worse than the false claims made by the guests peddling skin care. Just my opinion.

I quite like ol' Crystal Tips as well & love how she calls her OH her boyfriend, none of this partner nonsense......! LOL

Her stuff looks OK but it is all clearly a range made only for QVC & I don't care what anyone says, you won't get super marvellous, top quality, luxury hotel bedding for 142 quid, end of, period but on the other hand, most people don't live the lifestyle of Tallulah Bankhead so they wouldn't know any different I s'pose if it's better & more luxurious than what's currently on their bed but it does naff me off somewhat when they keep making these outrageously unrealistic claims!

(The reviews stating loose threads, frayed seams, buttons hanging off etc. are a dead giveaway, you just don't get that on top quality stuff......same as you don't get unlevel pattern placements & wonky stitching on an LV bag or whatever....! Nor do you stay at the top of your game by churning out such stuff to flog to clients forking out tens of thousands of pounds for you to style their ruddy house, they demand & expect perfection! I doubt she's even clapped eyes on half the QVC stuff before it's plonked in front of her on air but that's par for the course these days, a bit like all the 'designer' stuff that's made specifically for the outlet stores!)
 
I don't think Kelly and her conk get out of bed for less than half a million. Googled to see who her latest boyf is - some silver fox in his late forties. Described as a retired business man so I read that as being absolutely loaded.
 
From what's been said this is a QVC production which is "fronted" by Miss Hoppen. She's said stuff about "meeting the qvc team" who "are soooo committed to getting t right" and "then when I saw the finished result...."

So lets be generous and say that there is some input. But when she said earlier that "it's 800 threads in each... Err square inch is it?" I think we got the gist of what's going on. And why shoud it be any other way?, she's running a massive design empire with high profile projects all over the world, she's not going to be burning the midnight oil coming up with designs for QVC's velour tracksuit brigade (thats you lot, not me obviously). She's sold them her ethos and the designers at Q run with it. Tried and tested formula. I don't expect her actual presence on screen to continue more than another year or so. If that.
 
Bob Mackie was over here within a couple of weeks of losing his long term partner last year - I do remember being surprised by that especially as JF, or some equally moronic presenter, kept encouraging "ladies of a certain age" to phone in and blow him kisses!!

Sorry, I thought we were talking about Tova losing Ernie but we've gone back to Kelly Hoppen. Note to self: must keep up!

Did anyone hear Debbie Flint, while showing two pairs of diamonique stud earrings, say 'if you haven't got the ears for fashion jewellery....' WHAT?!!!!! Maybe a topic for the next taboo health solutions show?

Couldn't agree more with you on that one!

I would like to see Kelly in a room with Rebekka Brooks, and THEN we would see the battle of the curls !!!!!!!
