Didn't see it, no interest in him or his clothes. But on FB nothing but comments about him being drunk and how brilliant JF was in handling him.

Most of us seem to agree that Jill Franks coped really well with Lenny. She was assertive but not overly so while still being tactful and I'm now wondering if the Jill Franks we normally see is the product of what the Them Upstairs tell her to be - pushy, make your point at all costs, dominate everything, even if that means interrupting. Is this what Debbie and Julian couldn't stomach, apart from change of contracts, I wonder?

Jill franks did brilliantly. The producers/ directors upstairs should have pulled him off air during one of the many breaks they had , Jill Franks nor the models should have had to put up with him on air like that, I hope she complained after the show about him, Qvc should check guests are fit to be on live tv before allowing them on air , clearly something was missed and that's why he wasn't allowed on at 11.
Ive just watched a couple of the videos and I think he was slurring his words. Playing devils advocate here, I wonder if he was on some sort of medication which had an affect on him. I really cant see QVC allowing someone one who was under the influence of alcohol like that go on air. Still we will never know. Debbie did say in the 11.00 hour that he wasn't well and "they were with him". Perhaps he does have a bit of a drink problem and they know that.

Yes, but that's hardly surprising is it? FB is choc-full of ardent QVC fans who attack anyone who has the temerity to criticise the wondrous Q in any way, or the bad manners to behave in any way other than decorously on the Q FB page. The critics are outnumbered at least 20 to 1! Anyone who criticises any presenter is immediately accused of being "nasty", "horrible" and other playground adjectives. The stalwarts don't understand why people have to be so nasty when QVC is so wonderful. They have no concept of what Q actually is - i.e. a shop with shop assistants and management who will do whatever it takes to sell. To them Q is like a benevolent godmother who spoils them - good god they even post thank you notes when a product is on EZP, as if Q has been unbelievably generous - they don't get that it's a sales technique! I find the majority of posters on Q's FB page extraordinarily naive. They're just the people that Q are aiming at I guess.

Silly, poofy old man is every bit as dreadful as his tacky old clothes! I do wonder why they tend to have a lot of this type of guest on QVC. Simon Wilson, Antthony, etc. They all fit into this sort or camp figure mould.

I watched last night and thought he was drunk and kudos to Jill she coped brill i would of lamped him one. He did say at one point he was going for cocktails at 10.00 so i think he had had a few pre drinks hic.
To some, I know. But to me, and to some others, he didn't appear to be drunk, he just seemed the same as usual. Wasn't till I came on here and saw the comments that I saw what some thought. We'll never know. My point, though, was that those on the FB page will always defend Q and will always think the presenters were brilliant, so I don't put any weight on their opinion. That lot could never be objective.

Ok but this time Jill got praised on here (and rightly).
I never like watching Lenny. But last night was much worse than usual. And on the 11.00 show Debbie said Lenny get well soon. Well he is clearly back to normal today. Slept it off no doubt.
This is what I find bizarre. She's continually criticised on here for being overbearing, self-obsessed and talking over people non-stop, and when somebody does it to her and gives her a taste of her own medicine, she gets praised for not throwing a wobbly. I say it was poetic justice.

Sorry Scout, but on the Q FB page they get a right slagging many a time. So cannot say they are all sycophants over there. Even on private QVC groups which criticize QVC, JF was praised and Lenny called drunk.

I disagree, I didn't see it at all - I just saw par the the course for when he's on - he's always crackers.
l didn't say they're all sycophants, l said the critics are outnumbered by about 20 to 1. As for those praising JF - why? She was just doing her job, it's what she's paid a lot of money to do - to handle live tv and all it can bring. If she couldn't deal with it she shouldn't be in the job.
