There is another emu tsv, anyone got any idea what it is? I bought the boots toward the end of last year and am so pleased with them, I wish I had got the slippers.

I have Uggs and they've worn through on one of the toes after about 4 months of wear (last winter and this). I also had a problem with them initially with a seam down the middle of the heel which made my feet bleed when I wore them to town with bare feet! I may be interested in Emus as a replacement depending on what the TSV is. Can anyone tell me whether Emus have the same central seam down the back of the heel?

go back to where you bought your ugg boots or any ugg outlet and they will exchange them for you.

obviously if they are found not to be genuine then thats different.

my sister bought some ugg in america and the zip went. we were shopping in bicester village and they replaced them as simply as that no questions asked not even a receipt was requested.

I've had this problem with two pairs of Uggs, both wearing a hole at the big toe area. I didn't think to complain about them and just threw them away. I now have two pairs of Emus and these have not worn through at the toe yet. Having said that, I have just bought a pair from Amazon at half price and even though I have not yet worn them, the sheepskin at the same area of the big toe feels quite soft and thin. I think I may return these.

I assumed it was because my toenail had rubbed all the sheepskin lining away. The nail is quite sharp but I can't cut it further as it then grows inwards. It may just be my funny toes! Whilst I've only had a few months of wear out of them in total, they are over 12 months old now and the last couple of months I've not had them off my feet at home so feel they are past the stage of being able to take them back. However, it is a lot of money to pay if it will happen again. If and when I buy more of this type of boot, whether Ugg or Emu, I think I will wear them with socks to preserve the toe. I just wondered whether anyone had had this happen with Emus? I thought they might possibly be thicker at the toe area.
We aren't anywhere near an Ugg shop or outlet or I would call in and point out the problem to them.

I have both emu and uggs and I have to say the emu are far more comfortable and keep their just new look for longer.

I am looking forward to seeing what the TSV is.

I have two pairs of Umu's and a pair of Uggs, IMHO the Emu's are superior to the Uggs, they still look as good as when I bought them 2 years ago. I bought them from Natureshop in New Zealand.
I bought a bottle of water proof spray and used this to waterproof the boots and have not had a problem with the rain.
The Hi Stinger are in the sale for £62 inc P&P with free returns, but only available in sand.

Interesting how a company can send something half way round the world for free but QVC can't manage it within the UK.:wonder:

Just managed to get myself a pair of chesnut ones in size 5

Sooooooooooooo happy as they sold out last time. So glad they brought them back again as a TSV

:grin::happy:

JR actually admitted part of her anatomy is BIG. It's those dancers' calves of course. She's owned a pair of Emus since the last TSV in October, which she's brought in and put one either side of the set!

Can I ask all you Emu enthusiasts if all Emu Stingers are water resistant or whether this is a new thing just available on the TSV pair? I never know whether it's QVC "hard sell" or if it is something extra when they stress the "selling points".
