I am still tempted as I don't know any of the Elemis products. Also had a look at my stock...Well.

I ordered one this morning after seeing it last night; looked at my stock of PCMC and down to my last pot (those small 30mls don't last a great amount of time) and short of cleanser, the rest I will give away as a Christmas present this year. You do get a kind of sinking feeling adding to the stock (possibly!!) but the bits I do want cover the cost. Didn't go for the easy pay either, just wanted it bought and paid for avoiding bits coming out of your account for months ahead. The past few years I've gone for two of these but not this time. Interesting to see when/if it sells out?

Elemis will be desperate to shift all that stock today. The massive amount of advertising in magazines and the press will have cost money for a start. They need to sell the huge quantity of units to make a good profit.

Just shows you what the mark up is on skincare that they can afford to offer that stuff at such a lower price when ordered in bulk, compared to individual items RRP.

I ordered mine last night.

Pippa is now walking us through some helpful displays of how we can split this into gifts. I mean, we are not idiots are we??!!

I think Pipa looks great today, her hair and makeup suits her. Loving her hair colour and it looks glossy and healthy.

If I was buying and giving as gifts I would be concerned about the huge amount of advertising they are bragging about. Would kind of spoil the exclusiveness of the gift for me.

Personally I don't think it is that great a deal. Ok the supersized cleanser is good, if you use pcmc that is ok (a full sized moisturiser is 50ml to me though). The shower cream is nice but I just can't think of spending that much on something that washes down the drain. The body lotion, bath cream and hand cream are piddley little trial sizes which are often given away free when you buy something from the counter. Personally I found the liz Earle tsv a better deal, one supersize and 6 properly full sized items. Just my 2p, I know others love this and if you do love it then I guess it will be a good day for you :)

I am resisting! I have to admit I am tempted by the cleanser but I use Emma Hardie or Elemis balm cleanser and have a large pot of both to keep me going. I like all of the products in the TSV except PCMC.

I have decided -based on Keeley saying PCMC will not be in the next 2 TSV's- that by the time I run out of cleanser there may be a TSV with a large cleansing balm and some more Frangipani products, which I love. Not interested in the fancy creams or serums though.

as i dont know when its coming but thats a big size of it

I must admit I was a little relieved when she said there will be no PCMC in the next couple of tsvs, I have got a bit sick of the sight of it, but I realise a lot of people love it so that it why it keeps appearing. I am going to stay strong and not be tempted by the tsv, roll on the next one!

I have been saying exactly the same thing. I am totally impartial, as I use a lot of brands, but I really can't fathom what all the fuss is about!! You're paying for pcmc, cleanser and shower gel - which is good value if you need them, don't get me wrong. The other items are an after-thought. Why have they spent so much money advertising this everywhere? I would be embarrassed! They have had much, much better TSV's. What's with all the hype?

Do you know I am a sucker for the facecloths. If a face cloth had been included I wouldn't have been able to resist buying at least a couple.

Mad I Know.

What face cloths do elemis recommend/supply?
I always used to use muslin cloths with Liz Earle when I could afford it or Superdrug hot cloth cleanser when not, but I recently came across 'skin shammies'. I think SBC sells them with its collagen cleanser but I found them online sold separately and I am a complete convert!
Used to find muslins a bit scratchy and needed laundering so often but shammies are so soft and spongy when wet but dry solid so no breeding of germs or smells if it stays damp like old flannels did!!

I made my own by sewing my old liz earle cloths to terry nappy squares that I bought cheaply online when my children were babies. This makes a double sided washcloth for cleansing and exfoliation. They cost peanuts for about 20! Those japanese washcloths also do the same thing sewn to the muslin cloths (someone reccommended them on here a while ago.) If you don't have any Liz Earle cloths any shop that sells baby stuff will sell packs of several muslin squares.

I use microfibre cloths from the pound shop. Three in a pack, they wash well, are soft, soon dry after use and a good size.

Me 2 but I use micro fibre cloths and muslin - got the idea after using emma hardie cleansing cloths - think they're great but quite hard to find supplies so ended up making my own

I hate the Emma Hardie ones, they don't seem to clean well for me. In other words I rinse out in hot water and wash them in the machine, yet they go grubby so quickly.

The Elemis Terry Cloth Glove(I got free with a product), I have no problem keeping white.
