They have been waiting for the leaping bunny for years now. What I remember being told long ago. The problem with Elemis is they are always searching new ingredients, and it takes at least 5 years for ingredients to be given the okay as cruelty-free, so Elemis never make it to the leaping bunny.

They do not sell in China, but L'Occitane who now own them do, and they lost their leaping bunny because of this.

Elemis DO sell in China. It’s nothing to do with new ingredients; they sell their products in mainland China where animal testing is required by law. They are not classed as cruelty-free or waiting to be classed as cruelty-free by any cruelty-free database. Elemis put profits before ethics - like far too many beauty brands. Jurlique is another brand guilty of this.

Although my skin really loves the PCMC - and I see positive results from using it - this TSV is not something I will be buying. To be exact I will not be buying the L’Occitane TSV either, which I did purchase last year.

There is nothing really worthy of note in either of them. If you are gifting this set - which is what I suspect is happening in quite a significant number being sold - then I guess it does make sense. If you are buying to keep, it is not really a set that inspires!

I have seen much better TSV’s from both Elemis and L’Occitane at other times of the year.

I think both Elemis and L'Occitane have just got lazy with their Xmas TSVs. They know they will sell anyway but just can't be arsed putting more thought and effort into them.

I watched a bit of the Dyson show last night, no idea why as I have no intention of ever buying! Anyway, Abbey with the massive hair was given an Elemis TSV to try - apparently the ginger and lime one is "phenomenal" !!! In reality it's a cheap plastic bottle full of SLF and a cheap overbearing perfume and sold separately for £31. I wonder if they really have sold 60,000 or if it's just hype?

PS As it says at the top of the page in the link, you can also get 15% off if you use code SAVE15. So if you bought three, they would work out just £6.77 each - Billy bargain!
I don’t mind that Boots balm at all. It isn’t luxurious but does its job. I tried the Primark Papaya one but that was a disappointment as I expected it to be orange and scented, but it’s white and I certainly don’t get any scent.

I did see the other day a recommendation for the B. Rosehip cleansing balm in Superdrug as a dupe for Elemis Rose balm. They also do a Shea version. Sold out in my local branch but I put in a click and collect order so I can add them to the stash. I think they were £10 each but 2 for 1 at the moment, so I got one of each. It had to be done!
