4 five star reviews now, one says the brand is cruelty free and awaiting their "bunny logo" another says it isn't! I thought with Elemis the end product is cruelty free but not necessarily the ingredients that are used in it, I won't be buying it so won't concern me too much!

They have been waiting for the leaping bunny for years now. What I remember being told long ago. The problem with Elemis is they are always searching new ingredients, and it takes at least 5 years for ingredients to be given the okay as cruelty-free, so Elemis never make it to the leaping bunny.

They do not sell in China, but L'Occitane who now own them do, and they lost their leaping bunny because of this.

Elemis DO sell in China. It’s nothing to do with new ingredients; they sell their products in mainland China where animal testing is required by law. They are not classed as cruelty-free or waiting to be classed as cruelty-free by any cruelty-free database. Elemis put profits before ethics - like far too many beauty brands. Jurlique is another brand guilty of this.
