How long does it take to design a sheet of mirri card with dots or stripes on? My dogs, my goats, my owl, my swirls, I would never waste my time making a card from these insipid cutesy kits. I know she has loads of fans, but does everyone think the designs are wonderful?

I'm not a fan of any of this kind of stuff, it's pretty much already all done for you, all you have to do is cut and paste it all together. Seems a bit unimaginative to me

I'm not a "topper,stick and go" girl I like to use rubber stamps and get a bit more creative.(Tim Holtz distress inkpads do it for me!!!!)
I do have Dawn's "owl" stamps and they are lovely(and some of her flower ones which are also lovely), however I wouldn't want her dogs or goats as they are only personal to her.

I guess this easy peasy type of crafting is what I went for years ago, when I first started card making. It gives you a good grounding. However, I would only buy this type of kit now if I wanted to make some really quick cards for charity.
I am a bit sick of seeing Kanban though. Having said that, a lot of crafters must be buying it, or QVC wouldn't have dedicated Kanban, and Dawn Bibby design, (manufactured by Kanban), shows.
Nowadays, I prefer something more challenging, and don't make as many cards but spend a lot of time on other paper crafts.
We do have to thank Dawn for bringing the craft shows to QVC in the first place. Up until then I had to make my cards from what I could pick up in charity shops and haberdashers, or just do computer generated ones with naff clip art.

i love anna griffin always love vintage stuff. i have william morris wallpaper and even though it may not rock everyones boat i like ornate patterns so dawns stuff has never been for me kanban even less so!
