I keep seeing small quantities of this watch with a solid gram of pure gold set in the black dial. It sells quickly and for £200 but the sales patter, in particular last night with James Russell, is a bit sneaky imo.
He said last night that when he first worked on price drop five years ago, this piece was the second item he sold. With the current market for gold going through the roof, they have not raised their prices accordingly, they are selling this watch based on the price they paid.
They've had this stock for five years????????
He went on and on and on about the gold ingot, pure gold was mentioned a lot and I wonder if people flicking channels think that this watch ie bracelet etc. is pure gold. Because when the price came up (£199.99) and the usual 'wow' had left his lips he said........'did you think it would be a thousand'?
