Couldn't agree more! We have a "gender fluid" person at work...He's a guy in his early 50's who's always been a bit strange, for the want of a better word..On his girly days he looks appalling, aunt sally blusher, bright blue eye shadow..pink lipstick...a halloween wig embellished with sparkly butterfly hair clips...yet we had a young lass told off for wearing false eyelashes to work 'cause they were inappropriate and another one told off for wearing the wrong earrings! The world is upside down. I'm sorry if this sounds cruel 'cause it's not the person's fault..it's the pussyfooting around that gets me and one rule for one etc!Oh, ........ don't. All this obsession with sexual gender (or not), 'inclusive' diversity, and 'being woke' is something I do when I wake up, is too much to get my head around. Its all so intensely serious and offence is taken where none exists is just bonkers. Life was so much simpler when I was growing up.
It makes you wonder where it will all end. Have been watching the portrait artist programme on sky arts channel (which has suddenly mysteriously appeared on freeview ) Eddie Izzard was the sitter for the final. Apparently he now identifies as female, wears a dress, so everyone had to refer to him as ‘she’. How cool! ( not) No wonder the youngsters today are all screwed up, having to decide each day what to identify as. Imagine trying that when I was growing up in the 50’s and 60’s!Couldn't agree more! Except that you know where they keep their brainsI don't have an issue with a man who wants to wear woman's clothes, after all I wear trousers every day, it's the thinking that they can identify as a woman that I don't understand.
Having been through all the female hormone issues, from puberty (awful PMS) to menopause (hot flushes, mood swings etc) I know my hormones define me, how can a man without female hormones possibly know what it's like to be a woman, the same as I have no idea what it's like to be a man.
I live alone, so it takes a while. I rarely do more than two loads a week.Lasts nearly a year!
If you do three loads a week!!!
So who only does three loads per week
Folk who stuff a load of stuff in together
