I think his husband/boyfriend insulted someone on the Q facebook page and the person complained to QVC, which resulted in Steven losing his job. I don't think it was very fair to do that to him if I'm honest.

Real story.

Someone in a private Facebook group made a joke about Stephen swishing his hair on air. Another person in the group went and messaged Stephen and told. She had no business doing this and if she hadn't done it then the whole thing would not have blown up. So Stephen's husband, not his partner who was a manager in John Lewis, started harassing the woman, calling her such lovely names as F**king C*nt etc. The woman mention this on QVC Facebook page and another woman supported her. So Stephen's husband started harassing her via messages as well. Stephen said nothing. All it took was for Stephen to message these women and say sorry for what my husband has been doing. Both women said all they wanted was sorry. Didn't happen, so quite a few of us and even on here said it should be reported to Yankee Candle, as Stephen was employed by YC. Still no sorry from Stephen. So YC let him go

Stephen and husband split up. Then YC decided to open a brand-new store around the corner from Stephen's own Yankee store. Stephen started selling his own YC collection on eBay, but still best friend with Chunts going away for weekends etc. He did it seems still mentioned how he hoped to come back to QVC again. Then last summer, suddenly no mention from either Chunts or Stephen about being friends.

Anyway, no matter, Stephen if this had not happened would still no longer be on QVC as YC left or given the boot by QVC.

So if someone on a private group says something, do not be a tout and run and tell tales, as it will end badly.

Depends on what Alison wears: its hard to make a judgement about weight from a TV I have noticed when you see people in real life they are much trimmer. I remember seeing the lovely elegant Tova. She looks slim on TV which she is. But in Real life she looks near 6 foot and a size 8/10. Thats not an average jo size. Thats a model size.

She was approx 5ft 6inches.

Quite a few comments on QVC Facebook about AY on the TSV launch in the red dress. One loved her shoes, the rest saying she looks gorgeous in the dress.

Unfortunately it seems that this time Steven's partner's actions and the actions of those carrying stories to him in the first place have went too far this time.
As we know this wasn't the first time this same kind of behaviour had happned.
Whilst Steven himself is relatively "innocent" in the whole debacle one does have to take on a degree of responsibility for their partner's behaviour, particularly when one is in the public eye representing a brand and company.
Whether he was forced to go or went voluntarily these incidents were always going to be difficult to come back from in terms of personal embarrassment and also of bringing a brand & company into disrepute.
Sad that it has come to this when perhaps a formal apology from Steven & his partner would've sufficed.
But perhaps this will serve to remind those who revel in carrying stories from private groups & take great delight in stirring up trouble that they should perhaps consider the consequences of their actions in the future.
They know who they are!

Sounds like facebook gets one in to all sorts of trouble. Horribly toxic box if Pandora, imo. It actually sends a shiver down my spine when I think about the casualties of this beast. Ugh.
