Chuntley and P&P

I see Chuntley has been well briefed again about the P&P charges. She started the spiel again about how upfront they are about the P&P. Unlike all those other companies that factor it in to the product cost. She also tried to claim that QVC had the cheapest prices. Er, compared to where exactly? When I see a product on QVC, chances are I can find it far cheaper elsewhere on line, even if they do factor in P&P, lunch money, bus fares for the warehouse staff and whatever else. I really would like to know how QVC do their price comparisons.

I haven't bought much at all this year because of the charges. I had to swallow £10 for the tablet purely because I needed to make use of easy pays but I wouldn't do that for other products they sell. There was some bargain item shown recently where the cost of the P&P was more than 50% the cost of the product! Now I understand why they have "made for QVC only" products, as they can charge what they like and there's no way to compare elsewhere.

lol..! I'm not Cath's biggest fan by any means but I remarked to OH earlier today that the colour and the full fringe suited her.

the P & P always has been and always will be a big put-off for me - I don't buy anywhere near as much as I used to...the Australian Bodycare Skinwash litre tubs I can't find cheaper anywhere else, but we do use a lot and I order five at a time just to save two whole P & P charges!

She's the worst for coming out with spiels extolling the virtues of Q mid sale. It drives me potty ~ in fact I can't watch her anymore. She's fawning, creepy and oh so patronising. Learn to concentrate on explaining what you're selling and stop trying to brainwash us Ms Huntley!

I find switching her off even better.

I heard that too and I thought to myself " oh no! , not that again you silly woman" and found something else to do than watch her. I thought she would have been told by QVC not to say such silly things again (for I am sure some QVC staff do read the comments here)
Don't they realise how untrue it is and the mere mention of P&P reminds us the atrocious amount they charge and may well put us off buying that product?

I think the only prompting the presenters get re postage is "say summat plausible about the postage" This causes CH to go into desperation overdrive. Meanwhile Franks shrugs not knowing what "plausible" means and roles out another "girly girl" comment and scratches something. Welcome to the UK's number one shopping channel!

I really like Catherine and I really admire her for even mantioning the p&p the others just ignore the fact its there most of the time. Catherine least draws your attention to it. What I cant stand is when I see something I want, think afford that then I ring up and they say the total for your order is ..... and I just think how, it said it was such and such, then I remember the dreaded p&P and realise how much it addds to the order, sometimes I end up saying ok, othertimes I so agog at the samount I just say ok, then go and sit down.

So many complain about JF well CHuntley is just as bad. Very thing is so gorgeous, why didn't she order before the show etc. Yes, we remember the hour long whine about the earrings she should have ordered before the show and they sold out.
