I agree with an earlier poster who said that Catherine Huntley is looking better than she has for a long time.

However, she still has that attention-seeking or foot-in-mouth habit...last week, she was presenting a sleepwear show, and was confirming that the particular item was very suitable for side-sleepers as it kept "the twins" comfortable!

Then, today, she was on an electrical gadget show with Lee Holbein. Lee went through the product spec for an electric toothbrush, saying that it supplied 40,000 vibrations a minute. Catherine gasped and said "40,000 vibrations a minute? How pleasing!" She then collapsed in a fit of giggles, leaving Lee to complete the presentation.

Still, if Catherine hasn't got a love interest in her life at the moment, she can always get herself a new electric toothbrush!

Here on ST people are allowed to express their opinion on all things shopping telly, positive and negative. Maybe have a good look round the forum and you will see the variety.

Those of us who have been here years share a sense of humour that newbies can't (or won't) appreciate. We've bonded over so many topics, rights and wrongs, whys and wherefores over the years that although we have never met we understand each other.

We don't exclude (or mean to) newbies but sometimes alarm bells seem to ring about the odd few.

I'm quite proud of this little community. We're're helpful and supportive but don't suffer fools gladly. We're old enough and ugly enough to see the presenters for who they are - shop assistants who we've invited into our homes. They may be nice people but they're not our friends. Under the "friend" guise, some would happily sell their granny to up their sales figures.

With this in mind, we take no prisoners. We want presenters to present items to us not talk crap or preen like little girls.

Thanks, Sazza, for pointing people to other topics that show the kindness and support this forum has for members when we're not being criticized by those who haven't been here long enough to see it.

Someone once said that if you fall in love with yourself you’ll never have any competition. Seriously, I don’t know much about Catherine but if I was her mother I’d be freaking out at what she’s putting out there. Too many nutters around and she’d be quite easy to find. He posted it on Twitter/X for all to admire. Removed sharpish when people recognised him as being a regular in Debenhams (Nottingham IIRC). Liked to brag about leaving reminders of himself sick on clothes he was trying on in the Women's changing room. There was a very half-hearted appeal to see if they could find him.

Reduxx has a record of him along with many other perves.
