My previous next door neighbour had a cat that behaved like a dog.

Whenever she heard me she would rush up and "talk" to me, and follow me around my garden.

She was also very affectionate, and would leap onto my lap if I let her indoors. She was undoubtedly the best cat I've ever known.

She’s a Skye Terrier

Saw a Skye at the weekend. Owner looked amazed when I identified it.
Am guessing that there’s still not a lot of them registered?
I used to show/judge so recognise a lot of the rarer/more unusual breeds.
Still gives me a little sense of triumph when I can name one.
Though, I’d never heard of a Spanish Water Dog until my nephew got one.
I saw an assistance dog at the weekend (not working at the time) so was chatting with owner who was vaguely stunned that I knew it was a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever; which always sounds like a made up name.
