I may be wrong but it seems to me that most of what Gemporia is selling on this Black Friday is tat, with no real bargains. I think the only show worth watching will be Jeff's. What do you think?

Even Sarah’s breakfast wheel is out doing Jeff’s wheel of late. The brakes have been put on discounts. Poor guy can’t even load much from code anymore as items are in manager vault etc. I did get a pink diamond on Friday and a few bits and bobs during the week. Learned lesson to wait for 30% off rather than 20 if I shop again (maybe pink diamond earrings).

If you buy kimbie stuff then use code: kimbie at checkout for 10% off. Not sure when it will end. Also not sure if it works in auction. Definitely works after and even when it says code not applicable.

Most of what I glimpsed on there was in my opinion tat-looking crapola, so I'd agree with you. Don't catch Jeff's shows very often at present, so I can't comment on his Black Friday show.

The prices don't seem much different to normal to me. I've not seen anything that screams out "Black Friday Bargain".
Yes, I think the only real discounts were on the website with the 30% discount. On screen, the prices were just about the same as they are any other day

Even at 30% off, that's usually more than the on-air price anyway - so they really haven't offered much for Black Friday this year.

Everything just screams out that they're still struggling financially.

I agree. I saw an unnecessarily complicated arrangement on a Sarah Wait show, along the lines of "Buy 3 for 2" but if you spend £100, take 20% off with this code. I did try to work out if there was actually an extra discount in it but I gave up. When some of the Black Friday prices came in, they looked to me as if they were dressed up a little, in a Jess Foley "Pound to a Penny" fashion. Something normally costing £49.99 might be offered at £46.89.

(I see my old friend the brooch is finally reduced but it's 50% of the previous web price and still £14 more expensive than it was in auction.)
