aww i love what Antthony is wearing there again im known for liking the unusal

I do too.

I think Antthony just dresses to express his personality - he always cheers me up when I see him. I think he is a little shy and so the clothes are his 'armour' against the world.

I just love, love, love him.

I like Antthony but I find his shows so disappointing. When he first came his designs were so different but he's been thoroughly QVC'd to the point where his designs could be from any of the core QVC ranges. And also as his designs have been made more and more safe, his own wardrobe has become more and more bonkers.

Antthony might be a very nice guy but imo he looks a proper pillock, I really don't think he could sell me anything...himself and Debbie make a great pair...the Trotters spring to mind. :mysmilie_17:

Debbie did a quick preview of the TSV at half elevenish and said she was given the purple set but has also ordered another THREE sets in different colours?! That's 8 of the things and 4 scarves not to mention being over £100 and a bomb in postage (unless presenters get reduced postage!) ;)

I'm very surprised she did that, considering she posted a video of (allegedly) her new downsized pad. Where will she put them? Maybe she's also bought the property next door for storing her "collection".

I like Antthony and I think the garish outfits are his armour against the world, but his creations are boring and if the material is thin, too, a definite no-go area for me. I don't like the TSV at all and personally I can't wait for this silly fashion for odd-shaped hems to end.

This morning Simon made a point of emphasising that the material is more weighty than the last TSV,which got a lot of complaints about the cheap material. These tops still look pretty thin and on Kathy quite clingy.

Couldn't agree more about the fashion for odd looking hems. When will it end !

Just hopped over to have a look and can't take my eyes off the shape of the hem at the bottom, it looks really weird, even more so side on, it's as if they couldn't be bothered cutting it right round to the side. I also don't see what's special in the price.

I quite like the TSV, but where have the poor reviews gone? :mysmilie_503:

I bought the Join TSV and the high low seems to work even though I'm only 5' tall. I'm trying to resist because I've already spent too much this month plus I'd struggle to choose the colours and I certainly wouldn't buy more than 1 set.

Characters like Antthony make QVC more watchable, I like him! Mr Akimbo is in Texas atm and I suggested he buy a stetson, but I kind of hope he knew I was joking! :mysmilie_13:

Awful !
QVC are excelling in dreadful fashion presented by dreadful guests and with presenters who also look dreadful wearing it.
DF looked terrible with yet again those black leggings and boots.
Kathy looks pregnant wearing the top this morning and as for DF saying she`s ordered a bus load of the things, well the day I believe a word coming out of her smirky looking mouth, is the day hell will freeze over.

I look pregnant in lots of out fits...it's all down to having a fat tum! :mysmilie_5:

I like the shape of this top, I think it looked better on DF than the models because she is shorter in the body. The scarf however would get thrown away.

i like the top but when i looked on qvc.com the fabric looked dire. the hem was twisted and crumpled. thats why i like most join and yong kim the finish is usually very good and the fabrics beautiful. marla wynn's stuff looks nice and far cheaper than yong kim/join

The colour combinations are really nice, and I like the back of the tunic, but not the front - it looked lopsided on all the models. For that reason alone, I wouldn't buy it.

Viscose is one of those fabrics which can go wrong if you don't get the right weight and density of weave - too thin and you get insta-crease, and it doesn't hang or drape properly.

The thing is, there was a lot of hoo-hah spoken last night about how expensive and exclusive a fabric it is and what a big deal it was when Antthony and other designers got their hands on it. Sorry, but I was buying (admittedly woven, rather than knitted) viscose clothing in the 1980s! Cheap as chips down Chapel Street market!

You can get good quality (heavier) viscose garments at excellent prices on the high street - and at your local supermarket if you've got access to a larger branch of Sainsbury, Tesco or Asda near you.

They said last night it was repeated because it was so successful and a lot missed out on it!!
Antthony and Marla |Wynne both worked in Paris I believe ...how different their take on fashion is!!

Successful!!!! with 2.9 out of 5 starts ... that's not my idea of a success ... more of an epic fail!!
