By the sea!
I have only tuned in to Q a couple of times today and each time its been a whole hour of suncream! Turned the tv over I'm afraid! Is it me or is this just soooo boring. Ultrasun used to come on in a beauty hour with other different things which was ok. Just having a moan....

I use Ultrasun but wouldn't watch 5 minutes of it on the telly. Can't abide Abby and I don't want to be lectured on how to apply it. So I agree totally boring.

You are right these boring items can be slotted into the numerous beauty shows: :mysmilie_490:

I wear ultrasun religiously every day - but i never sit through a show nor bought a TSV.I know which one I like or use - there is no need to watch endless hours of it...I imagine even if you feel passionate about suncream, surely when you know you which one suits...well that's that isn't it???!! How they can keep churning out shows and TSV's,I'll never know!!!

I watched Ultrasun to get the info on it & now know what to use & where to get it (cheaper) & without p&p.I recently used the 50 face abroad & it worked well, will use 30 face here! The other thing I like about Ultrasun is the long shelf life. When do we ever use a full bottle of sun protection in this climate?

Dont get me wrong, I love the product, have used it for a few years and love the fact that you only apply once and I have never had burnt skin.
QVC if you are reading this, just slot ultrasun in with the (now) numerous beauty shows we are subjected to, thankyou

I agree 2x1hr shows in one day is bliddy ridiculous and soooooo boring, it only takes 10mins max to show products and how to apply it.:headbang:

Where do you get yours from then SF?

I bought a try me set a few years ago having fallen for the once a day hype. I was disppointed to receive it that on the packaging/accompanying leaflet it's clearly not a once a day application - it said that only those that tanned easily who weren't going to be in strong sun only need apply once. Whereas fair skinned (moi) and holidaying in the tropics I'd definately need to reapply. So needless to say I didn't buy again - i now stick to M&S Forumula Suncare range and apply liberally and often, it works a treat.

I bought the recent TSV because it was a good buy and we will use it as a family- I didn't watch any of the ultrasun shows though because Abby is so annoying and as has been said sunscreen is such a boring topic to fill even half a show let alone a full one.

By the way Avon's suncare range is all half price at the moment. They have factor 50 and 30, specialist anti ageing sensitive tubes for the face- matt finish, glow spray and after sun. There is a special range for children and a body lotion. No "once a day" claims but one of them is described as "very water resistant". £4.50 for 150 ml in brochure 8.

I buy my ultrasun from my local independent pharmacy.I can get the 100mls where QVC tend to sell *most* of it in 50.Its cheaper and even cheaper again as no delivery!

IfSoGo through Amazon marketplace is usually cheaper than QVC for Ultrasun.

I now mainly use local HomeBargains store for the Calypso factor 40 Once A Day. Works just like Ultrasun - must put it on clean, dry skin, 15 minutes before venturing out to allow it to "bind". Main difference is price: it is about £6 for 150mls - a saving of about 10 quid a tube and not an Abby in sight!

M&S are stocking & have/had discounts. Not saying they are the cheapest but I will be looking on the web to find competitive prices when I re-stock, lots advice on here will point us in the right direction!

Think I have just seen this in Tesco @ reduced price?

M&S have a half price offer on suncare at the moment, might be only their own brand range which is what I bought, but might be worth checking for their other brands.
