Abc tsv 6/8/14

i decided not to go for it... i had more stockpiled than i realised and theres no easy pay so i'm not tempted. i do like the idea of the refills though.
 
I won't talk too soon but have not had spotty skin for a while ...menopause changing it all i think but I have bought a real bargain twice this week ....Simple products ...3 items for a fiver ....feels great so far and to be honest its they didn't i can give them to my son as,they didn't cost the earth .....i still use liz Earle tonic though ...can't live without that ......
 
Just thought I'd say here - the ABC lady is one of my favourite guests on QVC. She's quiet, unassuming, pleasant, informative, a breath of fresh air in QVC towers.

I agree. I rarely watch any of the shows but if by chance she`s the guest when I do switch on Q, she`s always easy to watch and listen to.
 
Totally agree re the ABC lady - comes across as calm, genuine and totally professional. I meant to buy this TSV but did not get around to it until 6 minutes past midnight. Relieved to see it was still at the TSV price but when I went to checkout, it converted to £53. I was so disappointed, until I remembered a lovely poster saying she had purchased the Laura Geller TSV the day after the TSV and the auto delivery price had still been the TSV price...well, it was the same for ABC. Quickly got my order in, now have to remember to cancel the auto delivery!

The skin wash has been great for my OH's skin and cut down on spots. I have recently used it on my feet, on the recommendation of someone on this forum, and a toe nail that had become discoloured is slowly going back to normal. I have decanted some into a 30ml pump dispenser bottle and mix it with my facial wash if I get the odd spot. Brilliant product.
 
What is the shelf life unopened ? I know it`s 12 months after opening but wondered how long it keeps unopened.

lol Don`t worry cos Q`s tsv`s are like buses, you always know there`ll be another one along soon. I think the ABC tsv`s tend to be more in the Summer months though. It`s a product some people use all year round but some people use more when it`s hot weather. I`m one of those. When the weather cools I`ll use different shower gels or body washes and only use the ABc as and when the mood takes me but throughout the Summer I use it every day.

There won't be another ABC TSV this year. They only had two.

They put this on Twitter last night:

Sorry to drag this thread out, but what soap from H&B was recommended?

I bought a bar of the Optima brand and have been disappointed as I love the smell of the ABC range and this soap has no scent. I'm wondering if I picked up the wrong brand.

But... I was in Sainsbury's today and picked up a bar of their tea tree soap. I couldn't wait to get home and wash my hands! It was hidden away on the bottom shelf for 60p a bar and has the leaping bunny logo. I got home, unwrapped it and took a deep breath - perfect! Smells just like the ABC stuff and hasn't dried my hands out. Love it!

This is the soap. I bought some for my OH who`ll only use soap never shower gel. He said it was good but they`re only smallish bars. Fine for on the sink but don`t last long in the shower. http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/herbal-authority-tea-tree-oil-soap-60000857?c=tea tree

Ive used the sainsburys one in the past and prefer the HB one tbh ( see viennas link)
 
Thanks Both. I'll be passing H&B tomorrow - may as well try it (though OH might go a bit :mysmilie_13:) when he sees another bar appear by the sink!

i bought the optima soap it was lovely. good tea tree scent and has lasted me several months. i dont use it every single day. i even use it on my face no spots and super clean skin. i also have the hb cheaper smaller bar but have not used it yet
 
I personally didn't like the Herbal Authority soap, but I lover the Australian Optima one. H & B sell another Tea Tree soap as well. Dr Organics
I think it's called. Lovely smell, but it's got bits of green tea in it which I don't like. Seems to stick to my skin like glue so I was forever picking it off all day!
