I like that Herbal Authority one from H&B
it was recommended on here by Julius.

Yes, I agree. If it hadn't been for the recommendation from Julius I would never have considered trying H & B.
I'm still using the Australian soap BTW, I just didn't think the Herbal Authority one had any smell at all.

Hmmm. My Optima has no smell whatsoever. Plus it has a hard little ridge appearing where the soap is wearing.

How strange. Is it the one in a green box that says Australian on it?
Very weird because you can really smell the tea tree in all the bars I've bought. Faulty batch perhaps?

Although saying that, I can't smell anything on the Herbal Authority soap, and most people rave about it, so it could just differ from person to person I suppose?

Yep, Optima box. The soap itself is quite fine and lathers nicely. But, no scent and the annoying hard ridge. The Sainsbury's bar smells very much like the ABC body wash so I'm not scent-challenged in that way. Oh well.

It may be totally coincidental but my son's verrucas have disappeared. He has been using abc bodywash on his feet nothing else and only a couple of times a week, he is twelve and it is difficult to get him in the shower!

He has had these verrucas for years probably 4 or 5 and nothing has got rid including the doctor freezing them so we had given up as they weren't painful just annoying and just got worse and worse. Maybe it was just their time to go but maybe the tea tree had something to do with it.

I'm certainly going to keep using as my toenails look much healthier and my OH's athletes foot is kept at bay.

Anyone with verrucas, it's got to be worth a try at least your feet will be clean even if it doesn't get rid.

Never thought of using it for athlete's foot. Will do so as I catch it so easily - can't do swimming pools, changing rooms. I usually get it on holiday as well even though I am careful wearing my slippers all the time.
Finally got OH's fungal toenails sorted as well _ took 4 years. I dont want them back so will get him to wash his feet with Tea tree soap. I just cannot persuade him to wear clean socks every day.

Have you tried threats/bribes/violence yet???

so glad i bought the tea tree soaps. the optima one has lasted me 5 months and will soon start on the hb bar.the cost of the shower gel from abc was getting very pricey even though its a nice product

My son suffers from icky feet, athletes foot and fungal nail problems so I bought him some of this and then I bought some for myself. It isn`t greasy but has a strong smell which soon fades and it`s certainly helped my son`s feet. I find it better than a cream for daytime use and it`s been really good on my recent holiday where it was very hot.
My local HB doesn`t stock it so I ordered it online and every so often HB offer free p and p so I order 3 bottles at a time. It has good reviews and I must say I agree with them.
