Aveda hand relief is the best hand cream ever....imo.
I've recommended it so many times on this forum, I'm sounding like a stuck record

Not cheap of course, but worth every penny, and you only need the tiniest amount so lasts for ages. I always buy it when Debenhams have their discount days.

Hi I was just wondering if anybody on this lovley forum has bought a hand cream from QVC. The has calmed sore skin ...I seems to have has a reaction suddenly from some rings ..never happened before ...chemist recemmneded hydrocortisone cream which as helped a lot ( said visit doc of course if no real improvement ) so I was wondering apart from the non- scented creams ( that's I've bought this week ) are there any others that do not appear to be harsh ....Im a bit dissapointed no loccitane for me a the momentthank you in advance to

I like Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream. If you go into their shops, you can try them before buying, May.They have a good selection and they are having a sale at the moment

Next to them, I really liked Decleor moisturising body milk for my hands , it really sink in , not sticky and makes my hands feel so soft.

My GP's practice nurse gave me a couple of Oilatum cream samples, they were good but I don't think I 'll but them.

My OH uses E45 cream when his hands get dry.

I use Akin Unscented Hand Cream for sensitive skin. It's really soothing and also cruelty free. Crabtree and Evelyn hand creams are very moisturising and cruelty free.

Probably best to avoid the highly scented ones... so Elemis is a definite no-no.

Personally I love the Decleor handcream and also Clarins Jeunesse des mains.

Or you could steer entirely away from handcreams and go for an unscented pure oil such as argan oil.

I recommend O'Keeffe's Working Hands which is around £4.50 on Amazon. My hubby had terribly sore painful cracked hands, and we had tried lots of products - but nothing worked. I bought the O'Keeffe's Working Hands and after one night's use, the skin on his hands had improved dramatically. Within less than a week they were better. They also do a foot cream which I am going to order and give a whirl.

Thank you again for lovley advice everybody ....so helpful on here

I've been neutrogena unscented but not much improvement as yet ..certainly going to try some suggestions ...never had this before ...a million thank yous

For anybody who likes Crabtree and Evelyn handcreams they are currently in their sale. It`s currently £8 for a 100g tube or £5 for a 50g tube, full price they are £16 or £10 respectively. It looks as if all their handcream fragrances are in the sale too. My personal favourite is the La Source one.
