Yes, but in my case the shipping is too much to consider buying directly from LG. In the end I would pay more than when ordering at QVC.

Yes, it's the official LG website and they do ship from the US (shipping is $24.99 to $29.99), and of course, I would have to pay duty to customs. As I have to when ordering from the UK.

This is what's on the website in the "International shipping" section: " *Please note that for international deliveries, duties and taxes may apply in certain countries. These additional charges are imposed by the customs authorities of the respective country and are beyond our control."

I often buy direct from Laura Geller and I did again today, I was £5.95 for P&P inclusive of duties on a £39 spend. I bought items I couldn’t get anywhere else and they were on offer.

Yes pretty sure it shows from US.

No problems llloyd. I worked in import/export for 50 years so it’s automatic for me to ask.

Just to let you know, DPD other courtiers and even Royal Mail charge on top for clearing your stuff through customs.

I used to order from Pat McGrath in the US, and her site did everything so you knew how much you would actually pay. Damn stuff used to come in 3 days direct from the US.

I think I might have confused the issue. DDP is delivered duty paid as opposed to DDU -Delivered duty unpaid. Import duty, customs clearance and VAT chargeable based on value of order and shipping costs. Duty is based on the HS tariff number quoted by the shipper.
