I was prescribed Betnovate cream made by GlaxoSmithKline. I would highly recommend it although it is a bit greasy. Certainly stopped the itching though :clapping:

It might be worth going to the doctor and getting your hands checked out to see if you have eczema. If your skin is very sore and cracked a lot of hand creams with their perfumes will only make things more painful. I have a cream on prescription that I use and when my skin is in better shape...

My company sends details of the footwear policy to all new starters telling them no open toed shoes etc for health and safety. Everyone who has been in the job for longer than 5 minutes ignores it so Julia, wear your thongs with pride :devil:

I think the men are better as they tend not to get so hung up on the colours but give more "technical info" straight away on things like sizes.

I've been to the shop In Brighton before and got some bits. Bit pricey but a lovely treat and definitely products I have been happy to give as gifts.

Lola Rose and Honora are the only two I would stay up for (although hopefully SuperCoolWillow will save me the bother and post info early :up:)

I've returned stuff that was faulty and I've returned a couple of rings as the sizing wasn't right but I've either been lucky/careful when placing orders as I'm pleased 99% of the time with what I've got.

Yes I would still buy - I've been lucky that the new brands I have tried from QVC (Smashbox, BE, Laura Geller) have all worked for me. I would have tried them even without the MBG - I've tried plenty of cosmetics from department stores, Boots etc knowing I couldn't return them and it never put...

Love the disk for flat abs - fun work-out and much better than doing boring stomach crunches. I've done the 20 min workouts but think it will be a while before I can handle an hour's work out :sweat:

I've only caught the odd crafting show but I wish Dawn good luck. Sounds like she has had a difficult year and sometimes making a fresh start/shaking your life up a bit is the best way forward :mysmilie_378:

For those who have received "the letter" - what is it you mainly returned? I am wondering if QVC targets those who return cosmetics/creams etc which can't be resold :thinking:

The white one looks as though it would be used for a French polish but not sure how well it goes with the other 3 colours :thinking: I have plenty of pink/coral polishes so my money is safe :clapping:

I've got a couple of the varnishes in the sets and not being keen on the shatter I will give this TSV a miss. Just as well not tempted as my credit card has been binging too much lately so is now on a strict diet :wink:

Thanks for the info re Argos - I've just ordered a set to collect tonight as it does look good. Badly need to lose weight to fit into summer clothes so I am hoping this does the trick!
