I've had the Aldi 4 bird roast before and it's fine. Looked better than the Turducken when cooked!
I see Morrisons are doing 3 fish roast, which sounds nice and a change from traditional meat.
The seller is clearly taking on board Glen's dress it up, dress it down advice..
Hadn't looked at the other auction items but not entirely surprised! Each to their own I guess :wonder:

I agree with weathergirl, I sometimes wonder if there is some sort of competition going on as to who can be the most outraged by a garment. It wont be long before someone likens a polyester dress to war crimes.
As for Lenny, I do like him. I don't buy much of his stuff as I'm not keen. I did...
Iceland are no more dubious than anyone else, in fact they were one of the first to ban GM food and additives from food. I buy items in Iceland, their bread and tea prices are often better than big supermarkets. Their frozen vegetables and fish are top quality. People who think they just sell...
So the problem is not with the integrity of the review system is it.
The veracity of the reviews posted by those of us who can be "bothered" to follow a few simple guidelines should not be called into question unless their are credible grounds to do so.
Not a fan then Bettyboo :giggle:
I prefer non wool cardigans as I can't stand the itchy feel wool gives me.
I didn't care for the camel coloured wrap thing Anne was wearing, perhaps being modelled properly might have done it justice.
I think what killed the dress dead in the water was seeing the plus sized model squeezed into a size 16, she has a large chest and the tight fit made her look huge on the top. Not a flattering look at all. If she had been in an 18 it would have looked better. Same goes for Susannah and Julia...

Without seeing the construction and fabric etc it's difficult to judge if it's good value or not TBH. Obviously it's easy enough to know if you like the style! It's not for me but I think it would make a nice casual daytime Xmas dress or maybe evening depending on colour and event.
It's very common now days unfortunately. I know the sales assistants are told to say these things by management so I just politely decline. It's not the assistant's fault.
