    Duvet set - teacher's gift????!!!!!!

To be honest I'm sure even Suzy doesn't believe it's a sensible teacher's gift - it's just a phrase used in desperation when the sales aren't going very well! Could be a gift for the postman though! LOL!!!!

    AY and Cheryl Cole ;)

It reminds me how Joan Collins always talks about using Nivea and loads of celebs swear by Ponds. I don't know what to think. Let's face it, the cosmetics industry are out to make money by marketing fabulous and expensive products we assume have to work because they're so scientific and cost so...

They aren't doing as many Christmas shows in fact. I buy Thomas Paconi decorations, they're really nice.

    Gifts under £30

Saw some woman do it the other day and I just thought she came over as bonkers!! The first thing you do to save money is don't buy useless items that you don't need. You can put your money in a biscuit tin if you're that desperate for goodness sake! Talk about the product defeating the object...

Has Mr Christmas Dexster left QVC?

He's not doing Christmas any more though.

Jumping to the phone... and other phrases you hate

I hate it when AY is explaining how to use a product and says "and I want you to do this FOR ME". Why would I do it for HER? I'd do it for myself. SO patronising. Also when they say how affordable something is at X price ignoring the P&P like it isn't real money!

I hope you've all put your order in for this cut price beauty product...

We could all buy it and use it for 30 days and send it back - a mass protest! it would cost them a fortune lol!

What would you challenge the presenters to do?

I'd challenge some of them to stop interrupting the guests and let someone else speak for a change.

anyone tried/got bobbi brown shimmer brick

It's meant to be used just to highlight and not as a blusher or a bronzer BUT it is too shimmery and I hardly use mine - I wouldn't recommend it I'm afraid.

    Balance n Brighten....what am I doing wrong?

I have it in fair which is perhaps a little too pale but I apply it with a BE brush. I hate foundation so I like this as it feels light and I feel my skin can breathe. I have just learnt that less is more - you just have to keep buffing it to get better coverage BUT my problem is it looks great...

    Mr christmas - gutted!

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it - but in my opinion I think £14.99 is more like it.

    Why QVC ?

icr24350 - no I heard it on the radio the other day while I was doing my homework - I believe it's a classic?

    Elizabeth's Daughter?

They sell it in Macy's in New York so it must have quite a following. Wouldn't use it on my old wrinkly skin though, better for the teens I think! x

    Why QVC ?

:hi: Because: :song: WE ARE FAMILY AND I GOT ALL MY SISTERS WITH ME!! lol!!

    Underused words/phrases on QVC

This simply wouldn't go with your nice white T shirt and jeans. S*d the teachers, they don't deserve a present this year. Your friends will say "what the hell did you buy that for?" No one in their right minds would want to receive this as a gift. Just look at the lack of attention to...

    Anthony

I would just use and abuse him and then ask for my 30 day money back guarantee - wouldn't want to keep him, that's for sure!

    Philosophy - Birthday Week

I think the packaging is a key ingredient to Philosophy's success - it just looks pure, effective and fun to use. Estee Lauder type stuff always looks too manufactured and commercial. With Philosophy I always think I've unearthed some secret to younger skin and lasting beauty!
