How is an atypical body shaped model useful to prospective purchasers? ie. Joy ??

She looks like she's got some very serious scaffolding going on under the clothes because although she's big, it's all smooth with no wobbly bits. I bet she can't wait to get it all off at the end the show then she can breathe again and have a big trump. :mysmilie_477:

Kim & Co TSV Charity shop specials

QVC buyer who ordered thousands of these needs sacking. They'll all be in clearance soon and then in big cardboard boxes in Birchwood. Alison K would look elegant in anything but she looks like she's wearing a 1950s apron under a cardi. All she needs are three rollers showing and a head scarf.

    Cartmel Puddings

They used to make them in the kitchen at the back of Cartmel Post Office when they started off. So many are sold nowadays they're probably made in China and shipped over. They are very very rich and definitely not for those on January diets. Yummy though.

    shouting

I bet they're really nervous about what he might say (or Mally). You never know what'll come out of his/her mouth. Would love him to say something not 'acceptable' for their OAP audience. Watch the presenter squirm :-)

Liz Earle is back selling "Liz Earle"...

We won't see her on Le Q again I don't think.

Shaping up to a future on TV

Yes, way too much going on under them for my liking. :puke: :mysmilie_460:

    Enormous hair..

I think as you get older, long hair is very ageing and a shorter layered style is much more flattering. Goody the model is a perfect example. Her hair would look fab on a 25 year old but on her it makes her mutton dressed as lamb. Not a good look for someone well into in her fifties.

    Enormous hair..

It's QVC's American roots. The yanks are way behind us trend wise.

Will we ever get an apple TSV?

I got my iPad in November when they had a one day offer on. Not much discount but better than nothing. Got it from John Lewis cos they were matching the one day promotion and you get a 2 year guarantee from them. They sell enough without resorting to offers, including genuine Apple accessories.

    Nails Inc Express Remover Pot.

I haven't used it, just saw it yesterday when I was in Boots. The link is here and reviews seem good:- http://www.boots.com/en/Pretty-Quik-Instant-Nail-Polish-Remover-30ml_1055667/

I've found the tablet I want

Got an iPad from Father Christmas and I love it apart from the keyboard. I'm a typist and a tablet keyboard isn't designed for proper typing. Anything else is a substitute isn't it?

    Everyday Beauty-Revitalash TSV 19/01/13

    Nails Inc lies

The leather effect won't stay on for more than 2 minutes because without a top coat Nails Inc polishes chip really easily. Nowhere near as long lasting as Leighton D.

please take their I pads away.

Couldn't agree more. Why are Will and his iPad even there? Who cares what so and so thinks. She's probably someone who has no life if she tweets to them. It certainly wouldn't influence me and actually has the opposite effect of what they're striving for.

    Anything good lately?

After posting the above I thought I'd better check to see if they had refunded the £10 and they hadn't! After phoning them they have now but just goes to show you should always check.

    Anything good lately?

Eco hair dryer was my last purchase and I really love it. It arrived with a continental plug so I phoned customer services and they credited me 10 quid. I already had an adaptor so I was very happy.

    Bose. I mean, really?

We've had ours for 10 years and is on a glass shelf under the wall mounted TV in our brand new very contemporary kitchen. I can't agree that it's a 70s looking plastic box. Bose design is very simple and timeless, and the sound is fantastic. Love it.

Diet Chef high price, high calories

They say you eat with your eyes. Well it didn't look appetising at all. What's the point in eating that anyway. If you want to lose weight and keep it off you have to change the way you eat forever and you can't eat Diet Chef forever can you?
