Wonder why and where they got the stock from? Isn’t Molton Brown tied to QVC usually?
I'm happy to be proved wrong however I seriously doubt it'll be through MB themselves. Unless things are going seriously wrong with their QVC relationship, I can't see why they'd officially sanction their products being sold on this televised market stall.

Pedro selling cheap nasty Laurelle perfume. He pronounced eau de perfume as eau du pow-fum. Classy bottles in the shape of a panther. "If you love Gucci you'll be over the moon". He said he found it to be "an infectious perfume"😆

Just looked at YouTube again and went back a couple of minutes, he only gave them 2 minutes to buy because there was "an issue". No pressure then.

His resin figure makes more sense…

He can't be bothered getting the big Christmas tree out of the garage, and he thinks the mice have eaten it! Getting out old baubles are a chore says Pedro. That's the bit I love, all the happy memories, some of my late parents decorations. Miserable old Scrooge.
The thought of Pope Pete getting his baubles out effectively cancels any thoughts of Christmas.

And if Pete's had a cosmetic job he should ask for his money back (or offer the surgeon a job on IW?)..

Can’t do Christmas in any enjoyable form since my wife died. I go through the motions to please my partner, and go along with it all, but sadly, I cannot wait for it to be over, as I just think of my wife during the 12 Days, and how she loved that particular time and celebration.
So sorry. And so much sympathy for how you feel - all the Christmas razzmatazz can be overwhelming at the best of times, and I think a lot of people feel it's all too much, especially those for whom it brings back many memories of those who were so dearly loved. Not saying for one minute that it's the only time of year when the memories come back to you, but with all the stress on 'having a good time' it can make it worse somehow.

Thank you. The length of time it is being promoted for is a nightmare now for anybody with painful memories of Christmas. When I was a child, Christmas didn’t start even in the shops until the first week of December. Now we’re talking about October or even earlier. Completely ridiculous and purely money driven. Even when Jackie was alive, the reckless and cynical manipulation of Yuletide (I refuse to say Festive Period) ruined the whole event for me.

More than agreed. My local Morrisons had the pallets of tubs of chocolates out on sale at the end of August.

What used to make it special was the relative briefness of it, with at least some elements of a Christian feel to a Pagan festival. I remember bugging my mum to get the Christmas TV Times and Radio Times when it used to come out around about the second week of December. There was a genuine sense of excitement to look what programmes were on, and particularly the big films. I think from memory you had to wait at least a couple of years from cinema release before a top film would appear on television, and that’s what used to happen at Christmas. Nowadays everything can be accessed virtually immediately – films, music etc. Plus, as I have said previously, it is the length of time devoted now to Christmas, with people putting their decorations up a month or two even before the big day. But in general, not making the effort to keep them up until 12th Night, which is what many of us used to do. Obviously, like most human beings, you want to stay alive, and there are still enough beautiful things in the world to make that worthwhile. But there are many changes to society that at 62, I have seen and wish I hadn’t.
