I always use my iPad in landscape mode. However if I flip to portrait it’s fine to watch. Will have to try and work out how to change it.

I watched Mel and Amanda on a scan n cut show. Really good, full explanations and very relaxed.

I always have my iPad on landscape, because of eyesight.

Company’s like Highlight will be fine, and I’m sure Stephanie will sort c&c customers out as she has her business to think off, it’s the smaller companies

Those notices were published in 2021 and that is for Hochanda, not Hochanda Global. I don't think it's too far from the truth but please take care when you're searching these things.
 
Tonic Studios has posted on their website that they have no idea what's going on at C&C - the resumption of live shows has been postponed again with no definite start date and they don't think their orders will be delivered, so they've cancelled them. I expect administrators to be appointed this week.
 
I'm sure I've heard a presenter (Dean?) say that they get paid on 17th of the month. Sadly I don't think they'll get paid this month.

Now come on Jazzy, you're long enough in the game to know these statements aren't always necessarily true ;)

And even if they do (sell out) it's not to say they're making hellish much if anything depending on the financial state of the business, which we now know wasn't great ...

Does anyone know how to proceed with regards to C&C? I’ve been a customer for years and they started taking a long time to refund or to reply to me with regards non delivery. To which; I have a considerable amount of money outstanding. They have not even cancelled my membership. C&C continued to promote new membership offers. It’s outrageous.
 
When Home Shopping Europe (HSE) went bust in the UK I'd just ordered some things for around £100. Deloitte eventually wrote to the out-of-pocket customers. We were offered a few pennies in the pound refund as unsecured creditors. Fortunately I'd paid by credit card and the process for a full chargeback was fairly straightforward. I'd get on to your bank (for Debit card payments) or credit card provider sooner rather than later because there was a time limit (sorry I can't remember how long). If you have paid by paypal then log into paypal and raise a claim for goods not received ( also time limited but is more than 30day (ebayers will be aware that paypal is an option if outside the ebay 30 day buyer protection).
My advice is to raise a claim now rather than wait to see whether or not your items arrive. If the company recovers in the meantime or your items are delivered direct from a supplier then no harm done.
Be proactive because waiting for an administrator to offer you 15p for a £40 order isn't adequate compensation and as it's a slow process you don't want to be time-barred from claiming from your credit, debit card etc

I'm sorry for the folk who will lose their jobs and may already be out of pocket for unpaid salary or appearance fees. Sadly it might be that C&C going under will tip smaller suppliers into difficulties...for example Stephanie W may rely heavily on the airtime and C&C sales to pay their suppliers.
 
I thought I’d give Hobbymaker another go thus afternoon. No no no! Bossy Boots Davies and Germolene

Lavatory on for four hours. Reverted back to the nine millionth repeat on C&C with Dawn Wheeler and Leonie. I really hope C&C get “rescued” as the alternative is dire.

Ve made a list of the C&C companies I like and will check their online presence.

In the back of a cupboard somewhere
I remember there were issues with it as the instructions were wrong and they would not except returns
someone managed to work them out and posted the right ones on this forum before the crafttelly was set up
Think I’ll give it to my granddaughtet. To use for scouring card for her origami

I bought the ultimate pro when it first came out. Very cumbersome. The plastic hinges would stay shut and the lid kept falling off. I contacted them but they didn’t want to know. Ended up fixing them with superglue. It was ok but I ended up giving it to a local school for their craft club. I do still use a few of their cd roms from when Sara first appeared on Ideal World/Create and Craft. She sure has come a long way since then but still a bossy boots!

Totally second @Akimbo's post. Contact your bank and raise a claim now.

If the items individually are under £100, then you will have to use chargeback (both debit and credit cards). This is where the bank requests that the merchant's bank returns the money, and the right is not enshrined in law. If the company is heading towards insolvency, then it's particularly important to raise a chargeback ASAP, before the merchants accounts are seized. If individual items are over £100, and you've paid by credit card, then you can raise a claim using 'section 75': this makes the credit card company jointly liable with the merchant for any defects in the transaction. This is much stronger, legal protection and, unlike chargeback, is not a 'request', but an obligation.

So, under £100 or via debit card - chargeback. Over £100 and paid by credit card: section 75. Paypal etc - own remedial processes or you can try chargeback if you've used Paypal to do checkout and not used a paypal balance to pay.
 
The new studios and a change of location on the set makes the presentations look so much better. But the nonsense about not putting your central heating and only heating one room keeps coming. The majority of UK homes get damp and condensation is a problem. You need to heat every room. They should be saying you don't need to put the heat on for as long but they never do
