Lock & Lock TSV 15/7/24

I've got 2 sets and love them. Great that they all stack up and the lids all stay pretty much together. I very nearly got another set but then thought I was being stupid. I use at least one of them every day with something for my lunch, sometimes 2 or 3. Sometimes they go in the dishwasher and I've had no problems. Some of the locks are a bit harder to fasten than others, but none have leaked.
I’m pleased to see I am not the only one who really likes them. I think the issue with the locks that people mention in the reviews is that you have to seat the lids very straight. Occasionally, I can’t snap one side shut at first but I just lift the lid and replace it and it’s fine. Doesn’t bother me one bit.

Strato, there are reviews on the page with the video I gave the link for. As mentioned, the later ones are not very good but the original reviews were much more favourable. One person says they have dexterity problems and prefers these lids! See, alisonwt and I know best!

I have this set too, I don't find it as easy to use as the usual fastenings and with hindsight I should have sent it back, I'm not short of lock & lock!!!

Had many many many sets of Lock n Lock over the years - IMHO there was a dip in quality a few years ago but my recent 3 purchases - the metal Big Deal , a TSV interlocking set and another deal set I’ve been very impressed with quality and price - had a clearout of older sets to grateful neighbours 🙋🏼‍♂️

After I'd posted I remembered that I sometimes find the same as you Andi, and did this morning. Put lid on and lock one side and other doesn't seem to fit. Open, replace lid and it locks perfectly. I have a green set and a purple set, think I may have to get another. I must have at least 5 other sets going back years, maybe more, but I use them for everything. I'm still contemplating the glass ones. I was going to get the metal ones to use in the air fryer, but then thought the glass would be more use as I could use them in the the microwave as well, not that I use that very often, but you never know.

The metal ones won't work on an induction hob,, but I expected that, it would have been a bonus if they did. It was 50/50, as some SS is magnetic and will work, but others are not magnetic so won't work.

I will use the smaller ones in my air fryer. I am toying with the idea of taking the 1L one to my local Indian takeaway for them to put the food into it directly, instead of those leaky aluminium foil trays. But I'm not sure if they will understand what I mean, as their English is only slightly better than my Indian.

You get used to the locks, don’t you? And I do like the look. (“Luckily, I like the look of the locks” is fun to say 🤣🤣)

They only have the lemon and the pink left in Outlet. I have the pink on the way but already had the lemon and it’s lovely, as is the green you have.

Meant to mention, I also have the 10 same-size shallower boxes, currently on offer, on the way. You get 2 of each of the same 5 pastel colours as the TSV (no grey). Not such a good deal but will be useful for me, I think.
