Hi everyone,
Just to confirm I called knitty and got everything sorted for her.
i have said it during the is thread and will again - I am sorry that the channel hasn’t made it as I had hoped it would have been sucessful and given us another channel in the industry and given new employment opportunities to friends and colleagues who also love what we do and live tv.
For me, I’m glad I have been able to comment on here and interact with many of you. I have had the opportunity to polish up what I am saying and make sure that I’m not misleading customers and that has been pointed out to me. I won’t always get it right and I will be picked up for it when I don’t. But I have listened and It will help me improve and be more aware going further.
I’ll be sticking to bedding / interiors and hope to be guesting these products again soon when the opportunity for me to do so arises.
I won’t be on any channels every day so I won’t be on here everyday. So if you think I’m being quiet - I’m not, I just haven’t read a message.
Take care - I’m sorry this channel didn’t work out and if any one else like Knitty has any ordering issues please message me on here and I will aim to get it resolved for you. Alex.
 
Thanks for your candid input. Your general views on shopping television always welcome here for me. Hope you feel you can post again at some point.
I do and thank you for your comments and input as well. I have been in a position here that I am able to comment and interact on the status of the channel and what has been happening. Obviously when working with other channels I have to follow their guidelines on confidentiality and reacting on-line etc. plus I will be there guest so my job will be to go in, describe a product as best I can without showing any bias towards that product (unless I own it and then am happy to share that information) - but just the facts and be as transparent as I can.

Thank you Alex, it’s such a refreshing change to have someone who will address problems and listen to customers, instead of posting under different names and sniping at the forum. I wish you all the best for the future.
 
Alex sounds clear that the channel is done yet Simon is on Facebook saying "hopefully after today we will have more clarity on the situation at hand."

Why is he prolonging the inevitable?
It’s a severe case of Chequeinthepost Syndrome. A quick GP consultation with a prescription for a week’s supply of antidenial tablets and a daily spoonful of facezertruth tablets should do the trick.
 
Have you ever met Evey or dealt with her? Probably not. You don’t even know her. As one of her former team members and a long time friend she’s the hardest working person out there. She puts everyone above her and is doing her fucking BEST to make this work & reply to comments so people don’t feel ignored. She’s been as transparent as possible, no business is ever going to give a full story until it’s fixed. She’s ****** good at her job & wouldn’t be in the position she’s in with Simon if she wasn’t trusted and loved. No one has ever spoken a bad word about Evey ever. In fact most of her wedding were colleagues/friends of the old channel - and people went because she’s genuine, and fiercely loyal to those she loves. As someone that would regularly see her weekly I can’t tell you how hard she’s worked on trying to get something off the ground, she’s barely even seen her husband. Have you ever tried to start a company from scratch let alone a tv channel? Give people credit for what they’re doing, they can’t try harder or do more than they already are. Updates will come when they come, but stop speculating on peoples personalities when you don’t even know them.

Most of us haven’t even commented on Evey. Maybe you should check out there Facebook page
There have been a few which I should have replied and quoted directly but I have of course seen their Facebook page. They post updates which is all they need to do. I think everyone is forgetting it’s an extremely small team trying to do everything at once. If they’re also trying to fix technical equipment it’s going to take a lot of people & lots of other tv opinions. There’s not someone working who is dedicated customer service.

And relying on friends to pack orders in the warehouse yet they thought they were going to take a thousand orders a day 😂

This was never going to end any other way because they are so out of their depth. A former producer and 2 guest presenters (Simon and Alex) do not posses the necessary experience to setup a TV shopping channel broadcasting live 12 hours a day - as has been proven.
