I don’t know if I am alone in thinking this, but Alison Young’s skin is not aging well.

Given that she has had literally decades of access for free to some of the top brands - and the science in skincare and treatments - I would have thought that she would have really terrific skin.

Skin that should be showing a good few years younger in appearance. Her bottom part of her neck is really aging.

I actually like AY and I find her beauty tips and advice very helpful, but I do wonder if she practices what she preaches!

It's because she's lost weight I think. After fifty it's "face or arse" as the adage goes 🤣

I don't know how old she is - around 50 ish? She's ageing normally, I would say, but fast weight loss shows on her face and neck as it would on everyone. None of the beauty items she promotes do a damn thing to permanently tighten the skin. Perhaps they have a temporary effect and they probably smell nice and soften the skin, but that's all. Anyone who says any different is delluding themselves. A haircut would give an improvement to her total look, and an eye lift would benefit her as she has eye bags and eye lift surgery is less invasive than face/neck lift. I had it done quite a few years ago and never regretted it. All in all, though, she's an attractive woman.

I caught a bit on TV this morning Channel 741 on Virgin and she managed to get Pride month in.
She also said to go on the website if you were worrying or something equally nothing to do with the product as I'd zoned out by then. I don't think gender was mentioned.

She doesn’t look bad but it’s hard to know what her skin is like. She always looks like she’s dunked herself in chip fat. She’s probably better without makeup but I’ve never seen it. It would be good if she did a cleanse on air and then applied makeup like the lovely Stacey used to. It might make her more credible.

Personally, I think that after a certain age (different in us all) most people look better without much makeup. Slap on too much cakey stuff to hide wrinkles and you look like your face is going to crack. And it always shows when women in particular give their lips a (usually) darker edge around the lipline, the object being to make them look fuller. It doesn't. It looks like they've put a darker lipstick outside their lips, trying to make their lips look fuller and it always draws my eyes to their lips. As for black eyes ...... Subtlety is much more flattering.

D Flint has washed her face on air. It was brave of her, I thought.

She did ...i thought it brave too. I thought she had fab skin! To be honest AY always looks good in her home videos. Past couple of days she's been in her garden/grounds wearing hats and minimal makeup.
Was the husband anywhere in sight???
