Wasn't he on Rocks&Co. back in the day and spent the entire time chatting with the gallery?yes , really annoying
Agree with you. But some time ago I even liked him...yes , really annoying
I confess I haven't watched him for years, but I used to see him when he presented jewellery on Rocks & Co. years back. I couldn't stand him. He tried to come across with this jolly, funny persona that in some ways mimicked the late comedian Larry Grayson (if you are old enough to remember him!), but I thought it was an act, as quite often the 'mask' would drop and he would make what came over as really rude comments to one of the background staff off-camera, or the camera operator. I found him petty, abrupt and rude and disliked the belittling comments. He seemed like a points-scorer to me, often looking to make someone feel silly.I find him the most unprofessional and one of the worst presenters on TV, Do people really like him. Sometimes I spill my coffee laughing at the comments on here - and I just did when I read yours! You've nailed it exactly. I can just hear it now....'Miss Brahms, have you seen my.......cat?'He reminds me of Mrs Slocombe in Are You Being Served?
I really like John Scott. Never watched him on the jewellery channels, never heard of him until he was on Sewing Quarter. That’s his background, he’s designed and made clothes for the rich and the famous and has he got stories to tell. His book makes great reading. I’m a dressmaker, make bridal clothes for a living, and watched a lot of Sewing Quarter over the years. He’s got a huge fan following.I confess I haven't watched him for years, but I used to see him when he presented jewellery on Rocks & Co. years back. I couldn't stand him. Reminded me in some ways of Andi Peters (and thinking about Andi Peters is something I try not to do unless there's an X and Z in the month..)

Agree, I think he's sarky and can be really rude at times. I remember him on Rocks & Co. when he used to make snidey comments about those off-camera, which said more about him than those he was being bitchy about. Full of himself.i dislike him because he is more about negatives/drama/snipey, his hayfever, his gluten intolerence, general intolerance..house of alastair would be a vast improvement, you get fun but you get proper education .
