Yankee Candle Coming Back?

I was burning some Asda wax cubes in a burner over Christmas, the tangerine ones. You only have to burn 1 cube and you can smell it upstairs. I think there's 6 cubes for £2. Probably not very healthy but you can't fault the scent.

I'm a fan of wax melts too. I find the throw better than candles and they last a long time. I buy soy ones from a local small business which have gorgeous scents.

My mum very gernously bought me a large Yankee candle advent calendar this year.
It was early Christmas gift as I find it all too much at Christmas and usually in a crash.

It had 12 tealights and 12 of their filled votives.

Some really nice scents inc classics like cinnamon stick and clean cotton as well as nice new ones.

Not mad on these new votives.

Less wax than the old ones, wasteful of glass and more expensive - plus the wicks have mushroomed badly on most with some soot…

Sorry that sounds ungrateful! I loved the calendar and candles and still burning but value and quality seems down to me.

Not bought a large jar for ages bc of of cost..

One brand I really like - especially their wax melts and have regular sales is ‘Henry & Co fragrance’.

Think they have physical shops or did but mainly online.

Melts are strong and last ages.

I also got one of their candles for Christmas - scent called After Dark.
V strong like expensive aftershave a bit!

The have a good sale on right now..!
