Oh it's a Turtle!!! good job I read all the posts, took one look at the ring and had a giggle, but did not survey it's "magnifcance" for long enough to fathom out what it was meant to be. I like the side bar thingy that says: "You may also like" and has other suggestions, how about "you may also like some dark glasses"

It's not to my taste either but my first thought was that someone who was into turtles in a big way might be an intended buyer. There is a jewellers shop in Mall at Millenia in Orlando called Na Hoku & it has loads of turtle type pieces.

My husband took me to Hawaii on our honymoon, a very long time ago, and he bought me a sterling silver turtle pendant on a leather band as we had such a good time looking at the petroglyphs on the big island, and finding turtels. Then we went swimming in the afternoon and found more turtles. I still enjoy wearing it at times, and your link showed me the same design from this company. I am a lover of turtles and I do collect them the challenge for me is to try and find very small ones that are special in some way at present my smallest is 1/2" long and my biggest is about 3"long and they are made of lots of different materials i.e wood, gemstones , silver etc but the ring though I like it because its a turtle I would never spend that amount of money on it and would not wear it so even turtle fans like me would'nt want to buy it but someone will love it I'm sure

Nah. I wouldn't wear it. Partially because the price, and partially because the fins look like they'd snag anything you touch. It looks too much like costume jewelery to have such a high price tag.
