Just caught the tail end of Ali Young's hour and, presenting the bargain hunter, she is extolling the virtues of John Barrowman's HER haircare range. What actually is the point of Will being there? He was staring, intently, as if he was hearing the most interesting life changing information ever!

It must be rotten being Will. He's on air, but neither a presenter nor a guest presenter.

He seems to be tied to Ali Young's apron strings most of the time, but is also wheeled in on other shows where they are actually trying to interact with customers... so I've seen him on their lovely (! ) Saturday Night Show, Catherine Huntley's Electronics shows, No!No! shows amongst others. He also used to crop up regularly on the Morning Show, but not seen him on there for a while.

Come on, QVC! Give the guy a proper on-air gig, or keep him totally in the background on the production team.

After the length of time he's been on or around the live shows he really cannot be any worse than the other presenters; unless they are training him further to get him to ruthlessly and rudely interrupt at every opportunity, gabble inanely in broken sentences, not give out critical information until the item's sold out - these are all important skills I'm sure he needs to master before being allowed on air unsupervised.

On the 16th of August theres another NO NO Tsv and according to the Tv guide hes listed as a presenter of each of the Tsv shows (along with another presenter) so maybe hes in training to start doing shows alone.

I hope so - his position is ridiculous. Not the guy's fault - he needs to earn a living the same as the rest.

I just hope we don't end up with Richard Jackson syndrome!

He is in a top rated show in the US called Arrow, its started its third season the other week.

I have an idea Will has done a show or two on his own, now it was ages ago and it was covering AY when she was away?

Now he has his own Facebook page and has competitions to win QVC TSVs.

Wasn't Will brought in to compensate for Allison's technological incompetance? Then kept for his usefulness as the butt of her jokes? Plus of course as an appeal to the gay male market, which must be a significant chunk of the audience.

I suppose his IT skills qualify him for electronics shows, but not beauty. Certainly not as a cover for the resident qualified beauty expert. But then none of the other presenters are qualified beauty experts, so he would be on a level playing field with all of them. And he's gotta be more use than Simon Biagi in a beauty show, hasn't he?

I met will at the beauty bash a couple of years ago and had a nice chat with. He was telling us, that, at the time, he'd been with QVC behind the scenes for 15 years, so he's not a newbie to the business by any means. QVC just need to sort out what they need him there to do. Let him replace JF!

And another No No TSV? You see that blimmin thing advertised everywhere. So why do QVC bother?

And if they're still touting JB's Her range, how old must it be by now? It'll probably be gone off by the time anyone gets it. I'm sure I saw a comment on here recently where CS had said that QVC don't keep hold of hold stock. Rubbish! This stuff must be next to the Beth Terrell washable suede jackets! No wonder it was on "bargain" finder.

It is annoying me that when she appears on screen, the caption of 'qualified beauty expert' is shown. I wonder what this is in response to? this never used to be shown when she was on. Anyway, we all know her qualifications are so outdated they must be covered in cobwebs.
